Ladies, when you arrive tomorrow and get situated, you will take one of your completed shoebox projects and pin it to one of two boards. I will signs for the boards -- Tables 1 & 2 and Tables 3 & 4. Please put your card on the board that coincides with the tables you'll be working at.
This is something different this time and may make it easier to get pictures of the shoeboxes that you don't get to make.

That is a good idea Linda. Plus, we will also know what was on the other tables we didn't make and easier to take pictures of them.

Please bring donations of cards, card fronts, and ATCs for the troops! NO glitter, NO feathers, NO thick or heavy embellishments please! Clean out your old swaps to make room for your new ones! My friends and I will finish them and send them to From Our Hearts so the troops have cards to send home to their families. Thanks!

I am not sure if I am going to be able to actually attend. I have been very ill and it's not getting any better. The last thing I want to do is make any of you sick.
So, If I am not feeling better in the morning & am unable to attend in person, Heather Marshall (Quilling Queen) has agreed to bring my things up for me.

Seems like I usually summarize a few things the night before...
bring plenty of adhesive
bring your camera
bring any drinks you want besides coffee, water or cider
be sure you have all your swaps, shoebox pieces, etc.
pack your basic stamping supplies -- tape, paper trimmer, scissors, bone folder, etc.
food item
gift swap (wrapped) if you're participating
nametag
cards/fronts to donate to From Our Hearts (see Arlene's post #285)
If I forgot something, I'm sure someone will chime in.
I'll check in early in the morning before I leave the house so you can ask any last minute questions here.
Good list, Linda - just wish I could have seen it BEFORE I got to my mom's!! I'm not even going to bother checking anything now - if I don't have with me, I ain't driving back to Poughkeepsie to get it!!
I'm all packed except for food! My shoebox is kind of a mix and match so I didn't do all of the cutting because people will pick their papers and cutting is simple (of course, my tablemates may tell me differently tomorrow!).

I've had QUITE the night. Changed my shoebox about 3 times. UGH!! It's a little long on time... but I'm NOT changing it now!
Did get my cookies made though! AND .. I have a little more assembly to do for one swap. I wanted to do it at lunch time, but we all went to lunch for a birthday and I couldn't say no. Luckily it's not an early morning, comparably speaking of course!!

I hope everyone is awake and ready for the Big event today! Everyone, PLEASE drive safely today as the roads may be a bit slippery in some area's.
Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to attend in person. I'm still way to sick. Trust me when I say that I am MAJORLY BUMMED!!! I have been looking forward to this event ever since I found out about in when Heather & I attended the Hamburg event back in August.
Speaking of Heather (Quilling Queen), I just got off the phone with her and she is bringing all of my things up for me. THANK YOU HEATHER!!!! (Hopefully she makes it there without eating all of the chocolate that I'm sending for the tables.) LOL
PLEASE have fun ladies and take LOTS of picture's!!! I'll be thinking of you and be there in spirit.

YIKES- Sizzix would charge almost as much in shipping costs, as the cost of the folder ! May need to find more goodies in order to make it worth the shipping costs.
I think I found the folder locally..perhaps Hobby Lobby or JoAnne's or someplace like that might still carry it. I just used that link to show the image. Hope you can locate one at a reasonable price!

Had a great day of cardmaking yesterday! I haven't gotten together with Christi yet to give her the great cards she has to assemble. I also haven't told her about the items that she has won yet either... LOL
