Because I have a sister living in Mamou, I was searching this forum to see if there are any events in the "top half" of Louisiana.
She has lived there for years and I have never visited her home. It's a VERY long drive or VERY expensive airfare from Seattle to Mamou.
So, my question... Are there any future plans for a Stamping get-together in Louisiana? If I combine two reasons for the trip, I would not feel as badly about spending the $$$s.
Thank you for posting. We have quite a few events here in Washington State. Most are just put together by a few gals who post an invitation here in the Splitcoast Forums.
If you know of any other gals who might act as hostesses for a stamp and swap day, all you need to do is start sending messages and emails. Maybe someone will start the ball rolling.
I do not know of any gatherings in Louisiana, but I am in Baton Rouge/New Orleans vicinity and I would be interested in a gathering.
If you are in the Alligator Bayou area I am right down the street off Highland Road.
Are there many of us in this area, do you know? I go to the 2 stores in the area and have never met anyone who actively sells SU but I have met many who used to and stopped due to the competition. So this leads me to believe that there must be other stampers but I cannot find them.
Just wondering..... mid-Louisiana?
