Skellar - It would be too much for you to bring all of the paper products. Why don't you find someone that is driving from far away that can split that with you. Someone posted earlier about coming in on Friday. I can give you the exact amount of people closer to the date so you know how much of everything to bring. Thanks

Sorry my post is kinda late on this, I only saw the Stampede post a week or two ago, talked to Tracy, and now I have a group of us from the Scott AFB area that would like to join in the fun!
I'm gathering the forms with registration fees and asking the ladies to give me answers to the T-Shirt and food questions so I can get those to you ASAP. Since my group and I live in the local area, just let me know what we can provide as far as snacks/beverages/condiments/utensils. We're just a hop, skip and jump away from Collinsville!

Thanks, it is actually a mission trip so not that exciting. We get two days on the beach but the rest is teaching a conference so I will be very busy.

OMG! Carolyn, I never knew that about you...My Mom has the same problem and I pray that I don't ever inherit it. Although, I can rarely eat sausage...but I can't live without bacon, pork chops, and HAM! Sorry for you though...i know how it is. I have come to love turkey bacon and so do my boys.
Randi, if you let me know what you would like badmom to bring ( something easy, I hope ) I will add it to our list. She is working 2 jobs and has puter problems so I am her unofficial guardian here,lol

Actually, It was the burnt chili in all of the stockpots, that took me days to scrub out! Not to mention the mess all over the table with the bowls and fixin's. Ugh! Makes me mad just thinkin' about it. From now on it's hotdogs and marshmallows only!!

I guess for snack I will bring Carrots and celery plus a dip. I will bring some fruit juice or some crystal light since I am very close to collinsville. Gotta have something healthy in there. Oh, I will bring some soy crisp chips. They are actually really good.
You used to live there? Did you like living there, or would you just want to visit. People always tell me they like to visit but not to live there. I don't know if I can handle all of the bugs!
The bugs were not the problem. It is just a little expensive and there was not much to do when we were there. My parents were missionaries and that was our base. We lived there for 3 years and then moved back to the mainland. We lived 2 blocks from the beach. It was wonderful while we were there, but I don't think that I would want to live there. Especially now because I love to travel and it would always be an expense to go anywhere from there.
We lived on the Big Island in Kailua-Kona.

How about I bring some of those packets of Crystal Light that you can add to an individual bottle of water?
I went shopping yesterday and got the Crystal Light on the go packets! I got two boxes of raspberry ice, 2 of fruit punch and 1 of lemonade. All you have to do is add a pack to your water and you have a nice drink! So in total this will do 50 bottles of water.

I thought I was on the only one with a bunch of red x's on the calendar. I know I am over excited. But the preparing for it is fun as well. Even tho I haven't yet, I know that once I start I will be full of it. Just the thought of preparing makes me want to start. But I can't I have things to do to prepare for all of the family coming in and this weekend! As of Friday I won't check my email again til Next Friday and I know I will have alot of catching up to do.

Mindy, I hope the vow renewing goes smoothly, hope your flower girl is feeling much better. Have a wonderful time in Hawaii. Just think when you get back it will be that much closer to July. :mrgreen:
