Ya know, there are some real shockers on there for me (Linen BG, what?!), but overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I think they got rid of some that really needed to go (sorry Frosty).

I'm not too terribly heartbroken! I didn't have any of the things retiring and didn't have intentions to get them either! Thank goodness my punches didn't retire! I love those things! I am sad about a couple of the stamp sets - Typeset alpha, Linen BG, the Monkey set! That doesn't mean I'll get rid of them though! I see monkeys and I think of my son who just loves them and I really like my typeset alpha but am looking forward to their replacements! Bring on the big new catty! LOL!
Location: VA. But my heart is split between the U.S. and Guatemala!

Have we talked about whether this is a day or evening event? I talked to hubby about going, and he said 'sure, have fun!' but now I'm thinking about all the ballet & tae kwon do carpooling that could leave him with. Most of my scrapbooking stuff is at night, so I think he's assuming that I'll still be home for all the ballet/tae kwon do carpooling we do on Saturdays.

Vanessa, Thanks for hosting, but what a bummer for me!! I don't think I can make Jan 12th. What time is everyone meeting? Is the meeting in Manassas? I'll keep an eye on the thread just in case my sched changes.
I thought I'd pop in this thread. I live in Fredericksburg....not too close but not too far. I know I can't meet on the 12th but maybe for the next time.

Oh My Gosh! I just read that you're going to Naples Italy in June next year! Wow! I'm glad you gave me notice......I'll be so happy to carry your bags for you!;) Just let me know details a little closer! LOL! I loved, I mean LOVED Venice when we visited there! Okay- more about the get together- do you all want to do a swap? Or just get together to chat and such? Majority rules here- so vote :-) As for the meeting itme- late afternoon evening work for you all best? I know we all have a million and one things to get done on a Satruday morning and afternoon- so would 4 work for you all? I will have snacks and such ......

4 sounds good. I would prefer just getting together and getting to know each other the first time, after that we can decide about a swap or something like that.
And no, I didn't get anything related to stamping for X-mas, but I got money! Now comes the hard part, deciding what to get!

I am liking the swap idea but here's a thought, since we all need new samples for our parties, open houses etc.. how about we all choose one set and make samples to swap with those?! That would increase our idea/sample baskets for our customers to view?! Any thoughts on that one?!!
Vanessa - 4 works great for me! I can clean, work out and get over there in plenty of time! I'm thinking my DH will be home from a TDY by then so it'll be okay! YEAH!

I think that is a good idea for the demos. I would opt not to participate since I'm not a demo and I wouldn't need all those cards. The good thing with this is that not everyone would have to do it.

Hi ladies! I just came across this thread and had to peek as I am in Fort Belvoir! Hope you don't mind a newbie here, I actually met Anjou months ago and I'm so excited that there's a group forming in our area!
