You're welcome. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. And I agree that Michele D. having an October event in Jersey is a fantastic ideo too. Those are my old stomping grounds, familiar territory and not all that far. Paramus truly is one of the shopping capitals of the world. I don't know if you have ever been to Pearl Paints down there but they have cool stuff too.

If you drive a bit further out than Manchester on 84, there is another scrapbook store, Inspiration Station in Stafford.
Do we need to contact/warn her so she knows we're coming?? I think that store is open until 5 p.m. I need to look at the map, check store hours, and see what's possible on the way to Ikea.
I don't know how you NY ladies are getting to CT, but if you plan to go to Ikea in New Haven, you can continue on I-95 South to Orange where there is a Christmas Tree Shop and AC Moore in the same plaza. After that, you can hop on Route 1 and stop at Michael's and Jo-Ann's which are right across the street from each other. You can then hop back on to I-95 and make your way home.
I'm thinking, however, that you'll be coming down I-84, which is quite a distance from I-95. I know you ladies don't mind driving though.

Good news and bad news... My son, who is in the navy is coming home the last weekend of February:p- that's why I couldn't drive down to Binghamton to the swap this year, I have just found out his leave is extended and will be staying longer so I can't come to this gathering and neither can my sister-in-law:o. I will send my and her swaps to someone so they are not missed by all of you and I can send a shoe box project also. I don't like not being able to come to both of the gatherings but family is family and I won't miss my new grand-daughter. My son is going to re-inlist this spring so gosh knows where they will end up next time? I'll even send a door prize because I'm really dedicated at making these event possible and fun for everyone. I'm really sorry... tell me if I can do anything else.

I'm really going to miss you guys at the end of the month. Nancy, I'm going to the Hamburg gathering at the end of March and Amherest gathering April 30th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know alot of you go to the Amherest gathering at the end of April, does anyone need a place to stay? I live about 45 minutes away and I do know many of you travel quite a ways to come. My DH will be leaving that morning for PA. but anyone of you could spend Friday night or Saturday night so the trip would not be sooo long in a day. I live about 1 1/2 hours from the Hamburg gathering so I don't know how much help I would be for that one. ............you can't tell, I'm dying for a get-together.

I know many of us will attend the Amherst gathering. We normally get a block of room somewhere so we can stamp together Friday and Saturday night. Didn't you join us for one of the nights last year?? Or am I crazy?

My sister-in-laws name is Pat Ignatowicz - iggyp1 and I'm Kewl Kat - Becky O'Donnell- who can't come, where can I send the swaps to and if I send return postage? will you send the swaped ones back? I'll also send a shoe box if you like with everything punched and stamped with full instructions. You can ask Gayla or nancy about me. I do quality work and usually find something different so you get suprised. Thanks for understanding.
OK! Becky still wants to play, so please make her a SBS "kit" so I can mail her the swaps and SBS kit and she can visit with her son and have some fun making cards after he leaves.
Thanks ladies, I knew fellow mom's would understand. I'll send my swaps and shoe box to Fran. I would love and come and stamp Friday or Saturday night at the Amherest group... I don't think I ever have, maybe in thought... hummm. Time goes way too fast and these weekends have way too much cleaning involved. gotta get going.

It's Amherest New York,, near Niagara Falls and Buffalo. It is the biggest one I've ever gone to. Last year there were 100 participants, needless to say, I got alot of new ideas, one that I'm actually teaching this spring in Ohio thanks to Sandy O.

The lady in charge was nice enough not to put it the same time as the Akron Ohio Rubber Stamp Convention this year. And the Syracuse gathering is the second saturday in May, at least Syracuse is alittle closer to Conn.

I will do one sometime in Boston again. After I graduate in March and can get all the snow out of my parking area (over 4 feet high in the yard and around cars over 5 feet).

I know, August 28th is my gathering at the fair grounds. I'm visiting hotels to haggle rates for the weekend, then I'll put on more info. Always good for group rates and stamping in jammies...with chocolate and friends.
