I hope so ... but we still don't have the floor poured or water and sewer put in. I'm VERY angry with our excavator. He out and out lies to me and doesn't show up .. won't answer or return my phone calls.
Putting on the roof and windows this week. But if the floor doesn't get poured ... it will all stop. Can't go any further until we get a floor. FRUSTRATED!!

I have my shoebox (yes, it's an Easter card) almost ready and packed...waiting for the final number to get the cardstock counted. I put my samples together this morning while we were waiting for our kitchen sink's hot water pipe to thaw. We've been letting the faucet drip lately but must not have been turned enough to the hot side last night. It was -14 outside this morning. Tried the dishwasher this morning after the pipes thawed but no water coming into it. I tried again just now but still no water. Stephen put a little heater inside the opened dishwater to see if that will help. The foundation of our house is really thick with the house frame toward the outside of the foundation so the plumber had to cut out a little foundation to get the pipes up to the sink when we remodeled the kitchen. I don't know why we don't have some insulation in that cavity of the foundation. Those pipes have to go all the way across the cellar so there's more chance for them to freeze.
Sunday evening I made the mistake of eating a big bowl of buttered popcorn (and probably something else I should not have). Monday morning I woke up with a BAD tummy ache and didn't think I would make it through my shower without being sick. Needless to say I stayed home and visited the potty too many times all day. Yesterday I waited to see how breakfast would go and then decided it was too cold to go out (can we say a little bit of playing hooky???) so ended up on the couch all day watching HGTV's House Hunters ...until midnight!?! The good thing...I lost 5 lb.! I did go to work today and was tired/weak...brrrrr...and for some reason my voice has been husky all day (didn't throw up while I was sick so that isn't it). I don't feel like I have a cold. My nose just drips because of the cold temperatures.
How is everyone else fairing in these freezing temps??? I will admit to looking up condo prices in Hawaii yesterday!!!
I do have an idea for my ATCs and have the paper and stamp out on the kitchen table waiting to play.
Sounds like a good plan to me. I would suggest we set out ALL the shoeboxes at the start of the day instead of 1/2 in the morning and the others after lunch. That way there should be very little or no time spent waiting for spaces to open up. We can each set our projects up side by side in case they need to share supplies. The room is big enough and there are plenty of tables.
I request that quartz technique you pinned for the technique swap, Diane. ;) (if possible, of course)
