I'll be there for dinner on Friday night and although I can't speak for Diane, as I'm being driven by her I would assume she'll be there for dinner too!

I'll make a reservation for the Flames restaurant in Olds for 7pm......let me know if that time isn't going to work.
Saturday Potluck - Call me lazy, but I vote for a big honkin order of Chinese or Chicken or something like that. I will however, go with the group, so if everyone wants to Potluck, raise your hand.....but I get dibs on buns!

Regina, I haven't had the time to check this out -- darned renos . But if you are going by there anyway, if she has the foreground little stamps with the reeds or grasses, would you pick me up one or two, or even three of them. That's all for now -- I really need to check out the website, but honestly just haven't taken the time. Thanks.

I just have to finish packing my supplies for my Christmas cards, and figure out my silent auction items. I know I ordered 2 sets of the same Spellbinders by mistake, so one of those will be up for grabs.
Just have to get DH off to the airport a little later then I shall have time to look out a few bits for my package for the silent auction and maybe even pack my suitcase!!! Better make a list so I bring all my essentials. With all the moving etc, my memory has taken leave. :lol:

Just been tracking my SU order which yesterday said was due for delivery on Friday and that would have been less than a week since shipping! Now it says "exception" and it went from Redmond WA to Fredericton NB and is on "Agricultural hold"!!!!!! What the heck is going on, it should have gone from WA to Richmond BC and as for the "Agricultural hold" where the he** do they get that from a box of stamps and cardstock? The frig**** customs between us and the US is NUTS. AAaaagggghh!!! At least our renters will take in the parcel 'cos the nice UPS guy leaves it at the top of our steps at the back which is right next to both the main house and my back doors and under cover.
PS Excuse all the 'bleeps'!! I'm just AMAZED at the stupidity of the system!

The bloody thing was already in WA state, I could have driven across the border and fetched it!!!!
Up early, didn't sleep well! Was just about to go to bed last night(11.45) when our security light came on in the driveway. Of course I had to look to see what had triggered it and there was this HUGE bear ambling down past the suite! Next thing I heard was the garbage bin being 'demolished' under the deck! So I turned out all the lights and crept into bed and closed the bedroom door. DH is now in Ottawa until Tuesday! First bear in our yard I've seen this season although Rex says they have been around his workshop as they tend to 'mark their territory' and it has quite a strong odour. Fortunately his workshop is well away from the house!

I'm up a bit early today too. Woke up and just couldn't settle back again. Must have had something to do with the hot flash I was enjoying at the time.....

Regarding Pot Luck vs Chinese for Saturday night - heck I'm in for the easy (ok tasty too...) a feed of noodles sounds wonderful! But I will go with the flo as well.
Also I will be there at the Flames at 7 pm Friday.
Ruth I have a special boxed all packed just for you flowing over with punches and nesties and the beige mat!
The two new Basic Grey lines came in yesterday and they are wonderful! Lemonade and June Bug. If any of you are BG fans, check out the website and I can bring up some stuff and just a wee note I do share my discount with special peeps like you guys so pm me and I would be more than happy to be a supplies mule for anything anyone needs!

Regina, sounds like you are going to enjoy shopping for everyone else!! If you can, I'd like to get the little guy in the canoe and the reeds and grasses ones the same as Deb asked for, unmounted would be good. Does she have any of the Eezemount stuff or whatever it's called? One sheet would be plenty I think. Not a problem if she doesn't.

Had a busy day today but it doesn't feel as though I have anything to show for it. I also managed to really dent the passenger front wing of my car on a big white pillar in the visitor parking of our Maple Ridge apartment. DH is not impressed with me. :lol: Come to that, I'm not impressed with me!! My only excuse I was hot and frazzled and it's the first time for 3 years I've been in that parkade!! Oh well, it's done and there's nothing I can do about it now. Apart from anything else, at least it was not an accident involving another vehicle. First real 'scratch' I've had with this car!
I'd better think about packing after my laundry is done! I have my cardstock ready to go. Can't be bothered to go find my boxes of stamps in the basement so I may be looking for 'loaners'! Also my package from SU has now cleared 'Agricultural hold' and is in Richmond and should be delivered tomorrow but that will be ages after I've left for the airport. :(

I still havn't packed. I just had a 4 hour nap. I still need to finish prep for shoebox and what I'm going to do on the weekend.... yikes, can we say unprepared.

I'm packed and ready to roll at a reasonably early hour tomorrow. Have to drive into Vancouver which is a bit of a drag but at least the weather is good again!!

I can hear the flurry of activity from here......I did a few things last night, but not completely ready to go. I will work on that this afternoon. Just need to haul out the totes.
I am resisting the urge to get some of that new BG paper from Gayle. I have wayyyy to much paper, but I luuuuvvv BG paper.
We are starting at 9AM. That gives everyone time to have coffee at the townhouses or go out for breakfast.
Still working on tonight's dinner reservations. Problem is, I don't know where is good to eat. I will meet everyone at the Flames at 7 in the parking lot, and direct everyone in the right direction.
Better go walk the dog and get my day started. I love vacation days.

Just to let the Stampscape ladies know, I was at Mary's (Stamp-A-Doodle) this morning and almost cleared out Mary's Stampscape section.
She is letting me bring a very good slection of stamps with me to sell for whoever is interested.
They are all mounted except for the new Sentiment Sets. They are on Cling foam.
So bring your money ladies and join the adiction of Stampscapes.

I haven't packed a single thing yet, I still need to cut my shoebox stuff (it is planned and ready to go). I have one errand to run and am very glad we decided to just drive out Saturday morning, I have all day to finish up.
I am going to TRY to bring just a little bit of stuff... we will see if I am successful lol. I am not sure I can survive without all my paper and ink.

TRY - that is the secret word....but I just know that you are going to throw in a bit of this and a bit of that just in case, which makes you think you might need a dribble of whatever......and then you have the whole trunk full.
