That's awesome! They are calling for 20 inches of snow here, so I will be working at home tomorrow. I only have enough work in for a half day so I will have the afternoon for stamping! How cool is that!!!
Wow Laurie - what difference a 1/2 hour makes! We're only supposed to get 8-10 by tomorrow night!

The amount has steadily been increasing as the day goes on. I heard earlier up to 14, but by the time I left work, I heard on a local radio station up to 20 with blizzard like conditions. Ick!
Snow Day! But, with 3 kids at home...not sure I'll get much stamping done

Have to go to work today. Had a snow day yesterday. Didn't get anything done - wanted to mount stamps, but couldn't find EITHER one of the TWO SU stamp scissors. Very frustrating.
Hope today is a better day for me and for everyone else.

Um...probably not a good idea to let everyone know that I'm back in Orlando for another show...and it's almost 80 degrees each day with stifling humidity...!
Not sure I want to come back to all the snow...!!

yeah...NO. Here's what my DH had to deal with yesterday trying to come home:
Talked to my mom in FL yesterday too, she's all "oh, it's hot out, must be about 80..."
HELLO....do not tell me things like that when we just got over 13 inches of snow! That's just mean.
I apologize - my intent was more tongue-in-cheek than it came across. No malice intended, and I do feel terrible about all the problems caused by the snow...

Lucky you only got 13 inches. It was recorded that we were at the 20 in. mark. My work even closed down our factory for the whole day. That has never happened in 43 years!!!
Let's hope the snow ends in time for our gathering

Just got an email from my son who made it to Australia. He was suppose to go out of Chicago Wed. but I suggested he call his uncle who is a pilot. He ended up going out of Minn. instead, good thing because his fight was cancelled! The first thing he did was go to he beach! bummer when I sit here & look at all this snow. He is going for a semster there, but I really think he is going to study the SUN!! LOL If I was there I probably do the same thing. Have a great weekend everyone!
