Greetings from Tillamook! I've been wondering when I'd see someone else from Oregon (must not have checked in a while, though!). Still a distance away, but I'd be interested in getting together if the opportunity arises.
Handy Hint:
Click on "Member List" (left side of page)
Click on "Search Members" and "Advance Search" (right side of page)
In the search page there are a bunch of choices. Type Oregon into the location and voila.... you get all the folks who admit to being a Beaver or a Duck!

I do make it up to Astoria once in a while. My mother lives in Seaside, I grew up in Gearhart.... OH how I miss it. I take my mom to Costco, etc... once or twice a month.
I'm headed up there next week.

Awe, that's so sweet. I hope you have a wonderful time visiting with your mom.
