Erica agrees with me and we are going to redo it another time. There was just not enough response and with my situation -- it is just not going to work out. I will send your checks/money back to you all who sent it in, and hopefully we can work something out for the new year.

Well, it is official, I just got off the phone with Erica and we are going to try and make this work.

Directions:
It's 1/8 mile from the I-10. The exit is "Avondale Blvd." I will get the exit number soon. It's also approx. 2 miles from the SR 101. The exit is Thomas Rd, or you can use McDowell.

I am still tryig to find out when I start building for Habitat for Humanity. I just sent the thread link to several of my stamp/scrap friends. Hopefully, some of them will want to come. I'll let you kow ASAP if I can come or not. I want to.
Will we provide enough supples for 30 if not that many come? I'm trying to get my friend talked into it. Right now, I have 2 that will come if I come. We'll let you know soon because the deadline is fast approaching.
URGENT!!!!!!!!!!! The deadline to CANCEL on the facility is TODAY, so I need to know if you are coming TODAY! In fact, at this point it is up to you, we only have 8-9 people confirmed as coming . . . and I don't think it is fair for one of us to eat the cost of the facility.
Just to let you know what I am dealing with personally, my grandma is dying and could pass any moment. If this happens, I may need to go out of town for a funeral. If so, then I will not be at this event. However, if you all want to go forward with it, I will pass things on to Erica Fields to take care of things. She will need to know today how many are coming though to determine if the facility will still work, or we can postpone the event and hold it at my house later, after my grandma's funeral, since there are so few of us. I am thinking that we should plan for a later date, and then maybe more will be able to come. If you have sent in your money and form already and the new date will not work for you, I will send it back to you.
Amanda I am so sorry to hear about your Grandmother, my prayers are with you and your family. I wanted to do this, it sounds like a lot of fun but had other family obligations that day (tried to get out of but couldn't). Other than the people that are coming from out of town a different day would be better. It might be something that should be done after the first of the year because the holidays are fast approching and peoples weekends are booked. will keep an eye out for the final outcome. It's more important for you to be there for your family at this time. These things have a way of happening and I think everyone will understand.
I am definitely inclined to cancel, as I don't feel comfortable going it alone. After all, I'm not even a demo and into SU products for the last 2 years.
So to all of you wonderfully patient ladies, in the next hour, I will be calling my contact. This way I can re-coup all $$ sent in for the rental of the space -- $75.00. If I don't, I lose 15% of that amount for each day I don't cancel, leading up to the day before event, at which time I get no refund at all. I am inclined to try this after the holidays as my pal "up above" has said. So ladies, lets's do keep in touch with each other and pray for Amanda and family in the days ahead.
My grandmother passed this morning and I will now be going out of town this week and weekend, so I am glad we did cancel. Hugs to you all and thanks for your patience.
I'm glad we canceled this event and will be rescheduling. I'll get my croonies to sign up next time. Most of them are on this site as registered memebers, however, not sure how much they post.

Amanda I am sorry to hear about your loss. Hope all is well with your family and I am sure you have dozens around you to help you through this trying time. I just moved to AZ from Japan. I heard about this website and started looking for people in AZ to scramp with. Then I found this huge event. I was really bummed to hear the dates, because the boxes of my most prized possessions are on the mayflower over here. I am so excited to start up again please let me know when there is another event!!
