This year's SU Christmas stamps
Has anyone else ordered lots out of the holiday mini?
I have never bought many Christmas sets. I do have quite a few Studio G Christmas dollar stamps, mainly to decorate the envelopes.
First year of stamping I bought a gingerbread house set.
I've used the Santa/sleigh from the Wandering Words set.
I got an Awesome Christmas tree at a flea market and a fireplace and used those stamps from broken homes.
I bought the single stamp which is globe for one year.
Last year my cards were a tree made from dsp out of triangles.
I'm not sure why I never buy Christmas sets.
This year I have bought White Christmas, Holiday Home bundle, Festival of Trees bundle, Nature's Peace and Ornamental Pine! I have stamps for the next ten years! I'm practical, and truly, I will use these sets for cards for years unless my style/taste changes drastically.
Anyone else fall for this year's mini?

Christmas is my favorite holiday to make cards so I have a lot of Christmas sets from SU. This year I bought Holiday Home, White Christmas and the Wondrous Wreath sets! I love them all. I especially love how they crossover to other holidays and occasions! I can use Holiday Home also for Halloween, Fall, Valentines Day and Winter cards. If you change up the colors of the wreath, you can use that for all holidays and seasons! Awesome!

I probably bought 5-6 new sets out of the mini this year (too lazy to get up and see which ones :0)
I still have some from last year I didn't get to, so I think I will be set for the next couple of years. But you can guarantee I'll just have to have some out of next years offerings as well.

Usually I buy lots of Christmas sets because I have never liked the timing of the Holiday cattys. They come too late for me. Since I have to make a lot of holiday cards I like to start early which is something Stampin Up doesn't seem to realize. So I am basically a year of two behind in what's in the catty using what I have bought from the year or two before. Same with Valentines and Easter.

I started in January so I have over 110 cards done! I don't like waiting until the last minute. I liked when they were in the regular catty because you could order Christmas stamps any time of the year.

Our church as mailboxes in the church so I put one in almost every mailbox. Then I mail some out to friends and family. A few I hand deliver to friends. I must admit I had a start of about 10 from last year but the rest I did over the months.

I waited to see their current sale, and made my purchase yesterday. For Christmas stamps, I just bought Nature's Peace and Ornamental Pine. I will use them next year. I was thinking about the snowflake stamp/sentiments too, but two new Christmas sets are more than enough for me.
I also bought the Lost Lagoon paper, ink, and reinker. I just love the card in the mini with the Lost Lagoon and Ornamental Pine.

Lost Lagoon is one of my favorites!
I got quite a bit out of the holiday catalog. I should try to schedule one more December holiday card-making event with customers to help justify everything. ;)

I'd have to say I bought too many
At this point I have the Wondrous Wreath with matching dies
Bright & Beautiful and matching dies
as well as Festival of Trees and matching punch.
And on my wish list, which (if I'm really lucky) I am hoping to order before the catty expires, is Holiday Home and dies as well as the Ornamental Pine.
In my defense, last year I only ordered the Festive Flurries and matching dies, and the year prior the ornaments (can't recall what it's called) and matching dies.
I do make a minimum of 50 cards each year (I also make tags), and recently my sister asked if I could help her make some Christmas cards as well. So these stamps will be used

As a demo, I bought tons! Probably more than I should be I do love Christmas. I justify it that I will use them not only for cards but in my scrapbook pages as well. I don't buy stickers. I use my stamps as embellies for my scrapbook pages- saves me money since I can use them over and over.....well at least that's what I tell myself I do!!! ;)

I liked a lot of the Christmas sets this year. I have bought the Ornamental Pine and the Festival of Trees. I like the wreath one too, but I'm still pondering...
My upline had a sale a couple of months ago and I got several of her older Christmas sets for a really good deal. And I have some from last year that I haven't used yet. So I'm set for a while.
I just need to get busy and start making!
