Default Where to find pearlescent card stock & paper

I admire several card designs that use pearlescent card stock or pearlescent paper. But I can't seem to find it anywhere. It seems hard to find both locally and online. Any ideas? Thanks!

OMG - I just placed an order this morning from ClearBags. Check out their site in the online ordering, clearance section. There were pearlescent note cards, metallic linen note cards, and metallic leather look cards. Envelopes were also available to coordinate the look in many colors and sizes. Specifically, I ordered item # PI004, a 50 pack of A7 gold pearlescent cardstock - 50 pieces for $3.75. and item #EI205 copper A2 pearlescent envelopes. These are closeouts, so no returns or exchanges are available. From the description on the site, the cards are scored. There are some reviews available, depending on the item. I was looking for clear boxes and bags for packaging, and happened to check out the clearance area. I have wanted red pearlescent paper for Christmas cards - found other shimmer styles in LSS but no red. There was also a selection of 8.5x11 sheets - 50 pieces for $3.25 - on the site. Look at the texture to be sure it's something to use. At those prices, I couldn't see why I shouldn't try a few. I cannot wait for the shipment to arrive! Diane
PS - I am a cardstock collector, not a "rubber obsessor" as my block indicates - don't know where that came from!

Also check out Paper and More's website. I've used them twice now and was really impressed with their customer service.

Wow! Thank you both so much. I did know about Paper and More. They don't seem to have assortments but I'll check back. I'll definitely check ClearBags...had not heard of them. Thank you so much!

PS - I am new to stamping and don't know how I've been dubbed as a "Cardstock Collector" either. :-)

One of the best features is the ability to purchase as many "samples" as you need or want. The shipping for samples only is $1.

Welcome to Splitcoast and to stamping!

You might look at PaperTemptress while you're getting to know sites online, too! Try clicking on the "Speciality" section. Cryogen White is lovely cardstock!

Those titles are automatically generated and change depending on how many posts you've made - when you've posted 10 times you'll morph into a Glitter Queen You can see all the different titles and the post counts they're linked to here if you're interested!

I recently got 2 packs of some pretty pearlescent paper at Michael's. It's medium weight and they only have 2 different packs and the colors are white with different sheens. I found it in the aisle where they have all the Recollections cardstock packs, on the top shelf and it's called Recollections Shimmer cardstock. It die cuts nicely, I'm not sure about card bases as I don't use it for that. Use a coupon bringing it down to about 7$ and change for 100 sheets.

hope this helps.
