Hi, I've been making a few cards for about a month now and love this site. I am reviewing cards and learning techniques. My next problem after I make a card is what do I write inside? Is there a way for us to see your sentiments on your displayed cards? Funnily enough, I was at the store yesterday and tried to memorize some fun birthday greetings. What's a newbie card creator to do? ;)

Does this thread help you out. You can print the sentiments out with a computer on card stock and cut with a shaped die and glue on the inside of your card. Or mat with different colored card stock.
OR
Are you looking for sentiment stamps???

Thank you all! Leslie, the continuation of sentiments on an Excel sheet was a great idea. These answers give me a leg up with my new hobby. Frankly, I stopped scrapbooking and have all kinds of papers..so card making seemed like a good plan. Plus, the cost of cards is prohibitive. What an intelligent forum Splitcoaststampers has been for me.

I actually had DH buy me a simple and inexpensive greeting card program for Christmas one year. I love to stamp and make my own cards so will not be using it for that purpose but I can use it for other things:
1) sentiment stamps are nice sometimes but I want something more personal and this program lets me do that. I can choose one of their pre-worded sentiments and then edit or add to it or make up one from scratch. No need to line up what I want to say on the page since the program does it for me.
2) Comes with basic photo editing software so I can resize pics of my stamped cards for upload to sites like this.
3) the editing software also lets me add a watermark (my name and date) to my cards before I upload them online.
4) I look at the pre-designed cards for inspiration sometimes. That way I can take something I liked and make it my own.
