Dies By Dave
He is up but doesn't have much. I've emailed him for a month now and he's never replied to my emails. Usually he is so prompt.

I went on yesterday after seeing this post and ordered two die sets and they have been shipped this morning with a credit to my pay pal for shipping. I love his service and that I can get dies to sets I want to use for a long time.

I ordered 8 or 9 sets and got a shipping notice today. I will have them Monday or Tuesday. He refunded my entire shipping charge.

Tampatha .. I am in Australia and have ordered from him with no problem. It's been a while but I seem to remember that he charged $20 postage but refunded 13$ back. Couldn't have been happier with his service or prices.

Every time I see a Dies by Dave thread I have to peek in.
Well I've been yearning for the Roses plate die that he made, at some point. I saw samples of it on Pinterest and it looked exactly like a die cut roses panel that SU offered in a small card kit a few years ago.
Here's the Rose die I'm talking https://www.pinterest.com/pin/167055467404711419/
I was going to send him a message about this die plate, but others have said that he hasn't responded. So when I was checking the dies he had available, he had this dorky looking rose die (available) that looks like it just presses out lines that are kind of in the shape of a rose....when I read the description of the "Rose Die plate, it said it measured the exact same measurement as that shown on the Pintrest link, and the price was the same. It also said it cut an intricate rose pattern....nothing about embossing a rose pattern.
After reading this description, I decided to order it HOPING that it really is the rose plate I've been lusting after. So my question is, do any of you know if the rose plate die he has available on this website right now is the the rose plate like the one on the Pinterest link? (I'm guessing Amber might know since she's a Dies by Dave Afficianato. 8-))

I just went and checked it out again and I am happy to see that he still has the dies from when he first started. They are sold out of course but that is okay. I am on a tight budget for now and this gives me hope that after July the older one should be in stock and I can get them. I am very excited about that.

How fun that you were able to get the dies for Lovely as a Tree! I was able to snag those a few months ago when he was part of Shop Envy...the "shopping experience" was nothing to envy, that webstore was the WORST, however, the dies are awesome and match the trees so well. You will be pleased, I'm sure!
As for the weird rose plate offering, the reason I decided to take a chance that it might be the gorgeous cut rose plate is this. I've noticed when Dave has a die that looks exactly like a SU piece, he will either put a cartoon sketch depicting it (like the lumberman one), or just show some image that doesn't match the actual description he provides for the item. In the case of the weird rose plate, the description does not match the image he has with item, it describes the cut rose plate that I've been looking for.
Time will tell if my guess is right! I will report back here when it arrives.
Enjoy your new Dave Dies!

The rose plate is the one that was included in a kit a while ago. You won't be disappointed. It is beautiful.

Yippee!!! I am delighted to hear that the rose plate die IS like the rose background die cut that SU had in the kit. That is EXACTLY what I was hoping it was! Thank you for the info.
Now I wait and watch the mail until it arrives...

No set schedule that I can figure out! It seems like he will have nothing or next to nothing available for an extended period, and then the next thing you know there are a number of dies available....but not for long.
My suggestion is that you bookmark his website and make a habit of checking it every day or two. He likely won't be adding any new dies to his site until he gets all his orders filled, delivered and takes a break. Hope you are able to get what you have been wanting the next time around!

This one worked for me within the last 5 min, so I would say this is the correct one.
Dies, Dies, Dies ? Page 5 ? Dies By Dave
Oop! That link will take you to page 5 of his dies. Just page back through to get to the home page. Computer geek, I am not!

Dave has a waiting list. Email him tell him what you are interested in. He may put you on a waiting list.

Tampatha, I am in Canada, and I ordered from Dave with no issues, as has my mother. Shipping to Canada was very reasonable.

I have tried numerous times to get a response from email. so far I have placed 2 orders but haven't gotten anything just yet. Granted it say it can take 2 weeks just to send it out. I just wish he would respond back about when he expects to have more dies. :-(...I look every day to see if dies I am looking for are available. No dice yet but HOPING!

I just e-mailed him about an order and got a response in an hour and a half. He answered my question and order is shipped! I had heard to give him 10-12 days so I e-mailed on day 13. Yeah, little impatient here. My second order with him, no complaints here. I used [email protected] also.
