Default where to buy glossy cardstock

I just purchased a brayer and am wondering what type of paper to buy to do skylines, etc with the brayer. And where do you usually purchase it?

TIA,
Lisa

I buy Stampin' Up! glossy white. A pack of 25 sheets is $5.95.

I have used photo paper, but I find that the glossy paper that SU sells works better for some things because it doesn't seem to dry the ink quite as fast.

You can not emboss on regular photo paper, though. It will warp and crinkle up. Just a FYI.
SU's glossy works wonderfully and you can emboss on it!

Just FYI, the wonderful tutorials we see on here are not done on glossy paper, but SU whisper white. I was suprised to read that.

Brayering Problems on GLOSSY Photo Paper

I tried yesterday using my brayer on glossy photo paper ( Staples Photo Supreme Glossy 4x6 pre-cut sheets)....OH MY GOSH...no luck!! The paper STUCK to the brayer and curled up around it..wasn't sure I could PEEL the paper off the brayer without damaging it??!! If I tried misting the brayer with water and it just took any color that was there, OFF completely

SO, I thought..okay..I'll try the back side and it worked a little better ?? but would NOT DRY...ever!! If you picked the paper up and touched the edges (or anywhere for that matter) it left smudges...I tried letting it DRY several hours and still...smudges!!!! I pitched 'em all...

I also tried the Staples Glossy Paper (8.5x11 sheets) thinking I could cut them into smaller pieces, etc ...NO luck and way too THIN....should have gotten glossy CARDSTOCK maybe?? duh??

But...I was able to emboss on it if you're VERY careful when heating it...but WAY too thin to just stamp, emboss and use as a PIECE of something, unless you were to layer it over another piece of cardstock, etc...so ALL is not lost with that I guess??

Just SO frustrated that I can't find glossy cardstock like S-UP sells?? Is the S-UP Whisper White the SAME thing as the glossy cardstock?? as I'd like to purchase one OR the other IF they both work for brayering backgrounds, etc.

THANKS for all the help..hate to be a pain in the poo...Have a good day.
