Default What are we kicking ourselves about?

I am kicking myself for not doing a last minute order - Cheesecloth and the viney background stamp for one thing. After reading other comments, I am going to skip the In Colors and just find my favorites among the regular offerings, so I can get the markers as well. Who else is kicking themselves and what do you wish you had purchased?

Well, I am not kicking very hard, but I wish I'd gotten some more marigold paper. I stocked up on the caribbean and cranberry, but not the marigold.

The only thing I'm kinda kickin myself for, and not too hard, is that I did not take advantage of the pre-order special SU offered demos on selection new catty stamps.

I should have replenished some of the cardstock I'm getting low on before the price increase...oh well, it's only a few colors.

I wish I had bought some of the cool caribbean paper before it ran out. I do have the pad and reinker though.

I also wanted the cheesecloth BG stamp, but my mom bought one, so I can borrow it from her!

Default Not kicking myself -- yet!

I was really on the fence about the cheesecloth bg stamp, but I am thrilled to pieces to see that French Flair is back! As for Cool Caribbean, my demonstrator will probably sell her paper to me. For the Marigold Morning person, I have found that Summer Sun is a pretty darn close match to Marigold Morning.

candis, who is just a stamper (and lovin' it!)

Obviously, we are nuts about Cool Caribbean! I'm not sure that I can accept Soft Sky as a suitable sub.

Au Chocolate paper, and the chocolate grosgrain ribbon! I really should have ordered both, but talked myself out of them. Silly me!

Default ...but have you seen...?

I'm assuming everyone has seen the new catalog online. What do you think of the new paper -- Prints Designer Series Paper, on page 173? For me, it makes up for not having Cool Caribbean any more. I've never looked at all the designer paper, much, because they really didn't seem to carry a whole lot from the Earth Elements family, but I love this new stuff! I will be purchasing old olive, close to cocoa and pumpkin pie prints....candis

I wish I preordered Vases in Vogue when we had the chance to preorder. Now that I saw it in the catty I decited that it would make beautiful quick cards. And I will never be able to earn it. :(

I meant to order Office Accoutrements before the price increase. I meant to buy the nuts and bolts wheel that goes with the tool set. My husband is a fixer upper and this would make great scrapbook pages. Other than that, I'm good!

So I am not the only one!! I got all year cheer II and I am so glad. Even though I have one set from WAY BACK called Country Greetings (since the rubber is purple was it a hostess set? Like in 2000 maybe) and it has a small Happy Birthday. I haven't seen anything in the gallery using this set and I am working on creating something gallery worthy with it...but I have a long way to go. Anyway, I agree about Cool Caribean - I bought the ink and reinker too but no paper - it is a great color. Tempting Turq. is pretty too. Which other colors from the regular line make close to the In Colors? I love purely pom. and don't see a close match. Maybe Rose Red? Opinions are welcome. Thanks for answering.

I am sorry I held off from order retiring sets from the old catty, thinking that there HAD to be tons of GREAT stuff coming out. Unfortunately, I'm not in love with most of the new catalog. Oh well, I have some extra money to spend elsewhere...

I kinda wish I had gotten the Wash Day Wheel. I guess we really can't have it all -- where would we put it?

I thought supplies for the in colors were through the 30th. Not till supplies last. I tried to order refills of paper and ink, well you know the rest. I had my eyes on balmy breezes but did not order it. Looking in the buy/sell thread and no one is selling this set. I did order cheese cloth. Boy what took me so long. Love cheesecloth!
