Default What is the value of this collection?

If you were to offer this as a purchase to a group of people - what would you offer? I am going to offer this to all my customers and then it will go on ebay - but - what would you consider a fair offer for both myself and the customers?

Here's what I think. If you try to get much more than 40% off the regular price, people won't bite. They can still get most of this stuff at Michaels or Hobby Lobby and use their 40% coupon.

You could also try the B/S/T forum here. I traded a bunch of my sizzix dies for stamps

I just want a ballpark number - as I have no idea what I paid for these - and Yes - I probably did use the 40% coupon as I generally do for large purchases or anything over $10 really. if you have any idea - please post what you think the value might be.

Hi!
I would like to suggest that you go to Sizzix.com, they are currently having a 40% off everything except the new releases. Look up each die, and that would give you a good estimate of what to charge.
Good Luck

You might need to go to Micael's.com, hunt up the prices on the items (or similar items) and then do the math. I'm really terrible at math so you would not want me to do it for you!!!!!!

I usually search on ebay what items have sold for in the past, and look at what items are selling for today. Then I set my price to start at what I would like to get at a minimum. I set a price after looking at everything else for the buy it now price. I currently have a stamp set that is retired on ebay. I found that they are going for between 15-30 dollars in general. I set a buy it now for $27.50, and starting value of $5.

Check out www.Sizzix.com or www.CreativeXpress.com for their prices, then come up with a number based on what those websites offer. I don't think anyone here can come up with a "ballpark" figure without doing some extensive research.

OK thanks. Sounds like Sizzix.com would be the best place to go.

***embarassed*** I don't even know what a Sizzix is.... I don't think I want to know - it sounds like it could cost me more money!

It's a die cut machine.

Just a thought. Because the sizzix is so heavy, shipping it is going to cost a bundle. I think that will really affect the price that people will be willing to pay on e-bay. JMHO. Good luck.

yes - that's why I am offering it to my customers who scrap first - no shipping costs would be needed for them - I just needed to get a price and had no idea what a slightly used model should bring - as most on ebay are brand new.
