The email issue sure is confusing. I received an email today telling me my dies have shipped and it's from Dave at diesbydavepins@gmail.com

All my emails have been from diesbydave@gmail.com, even all paypal info and my order back in August.

I got all excited about this!! THen I clicked the link from earlier in the post and it says the site is down for construction. Did it change? I know it's been a few months since this thread was started so I didn't know if he was still around anymore.

Please read the thread. You have to email Dave for a pass code to get into his site. I have posted the email numerous times.

Dave answered me yesterday and said that he hoped to have everything up and running after the 1st of the year. I am so excited. Don't know the details yet but have something to look forward to...

Hi. I asked for the code from Dave and received it almost immediately. I looked at the site and promptly made an order. Probably, the first of many! Does anyone know for the out of stock items, does he put them back in production? I'm probably interested in Tides and Trees, both of which are out of stock. Thank you.

I only asked about the trees frame and he wrote that they are out until after the 1st of the year. I don't know if the others are coming back. You might right him again and ask what the status is of the out of stock items.

Does anyone know what the wait time is on this orders?

I placed my 1st order with him on 3rd December, I know he's super busy but it's still saying 'unfulfilled'

Here's my experience. I put in an order on Nov 26th, received confirmation that the order had filled & Paypal paid the same day. He sent notice that the dies shipped on Dec 3, and I received the dies on Dec 9th. The dies were sent in a brown Manila envelope, regular mail not priority. That's 14 days from start to finish. This was a domestic order (within the US).

My first order from him took much longer to receive because the dies weren't "ready"....I'm guessing that meant that he had them ordered from the manufacturer but had not yet received them. The dies are manufactured somewhere in the US, not overseas.

If your order status is unfilled, I am guessing he is still waiting to receive the dies. He will send an email when they are shipped, but other than that you are unlikely to hear from him. If you are wanting to have a better idea of when to realistically expect your dies, it might be smart to send him an email and ask him.

I hope your order is fulfilled soon and that arrive when you need them!

I placed an order on Thanksgiving and got it yesterday. My only complaint is the high cost of shipping. $7 for an item placed in a small padded envelope with $2.34 postage on it. I know he has to package the items and take them to the post office but it still seems high to me.

I do like the dies- cut cleanly with one pass when I was using watercolor paper.

Did you check to see if you were issued a refund, basketdiva? I know I paid $7 for shipping for a die set, but Dave refunded me $3 of it around the time I received the die set. He's very good about that. I know I'm not the only one who has received a refund of excess shipping charged from him. I think I received my refund sometime last week.

Default Dies by Dave website down

I had no idea about Dies by Dave until a week ago, and I thought his dies were new until I saw this discussion thread. His Etsy shop is empty and his website has been down for several weeks now........does anyone know what has happened?

Default The same thing happened to me today

I tried everything to sign in so I could buy some today to but to no avail. I sent another e-mail to Dave but hasn't replied yet. He did say he took off the code to sing in but still not working right for me. Hope we hear soon. I would love to have the trees framelit and some more. Don't want to order the joyful season until I know I can get the cardinal framelit.

Do you know if Dies by Dave's website has been shut down? I've been trying to get access to this website but it says it's under construction.

It's still there. Lots of sold out stuff, but I'm sure he'll be adding more goodies when he has time.

And, as mentioned in earlier posts, you can always email him (diesbydave@gmail.com) and ask him about any dies you're interested in. He might find extras laying around.

Default dies by dave

I have a question on some of the sold out items and the items that are no longer listed. I would love to have lovely as a tree dies and the guy ones for sure. Does anyone know when or if he will have these two dies back in stock? I am thankful that these are provided by him for the stampin up stamp sets because those are my main sets I use to make my cards and these dies will have a special touch to my cards. Thanks. Christy

Just figured out the answer to my own question. The dies are for Guy Greetings.

Do we have a list anywhere that tells us the corresponding stamp set for the dies that Dave provides? Now I am wondering what Artistic Elements dies are for?

Dies By Dave Apparently this is his new website and I got in with NO Pass Code...just to update the info so you don't have to read all 4 pages.

How do we know which stamp sets they match? Is there a master list?

As far as I know, SU has not partnered with Dave. You would have to ask Dave for a list.

Dave's site currently does not require a password. His site is dies-by-dave.@myshopify.com If a die is not in stock, keep checking back--if there is a preorder, you can order and you will be charged at that time--the die ships after the day he has stated it will be ready. I have always had wonderful customer service from Dave, and the dies are great!
