Default What size cards do you make?

Just wondering what size cards you prefer to make. Mine are usually from a 4 x 5 1/2 and occasionally 4x4 or 3x3.

Mine are usually 4.25" x 5.5", fits into an A2 envelope. I try other sizes, but seem to keep going back to my basic size!

I usually stick to the A2 size for thank you, baby and shower cards, and some holiday cards. 4x4 for gift cards, 3x3 for gift enclosures but for most birthday, wedding, or special cards I usually do larger sizes. My current go to size is 5 x 6 1/2 because it's large enough to rival the card shop cards but not too large to keep the stamps in proportion.

Well...our A4 card sizing is different to American sizings, so for a long time, I made cards to fit that sheeting....You could get two card bases out of one A4 sheet...21cm by 10.5cm.

No, with the advent of card in 12"x12" sizing, I make them all sorts of sizes...without too much wastage....

Nowadays, I accommodate the sizing of the image and the layering I want to do with the sizing of the base...

There is a world of differing sizes out there and I want to try them all!

I typically make my cards A2, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and I favor the portrait style card with the fold at the top. Lately though, I find myself loving making small 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square cards and 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 square cards too. It's fun to change it up a bit.

5 x 7 "The Goldilocks Principle": not too big and not too small. It provides room for image, ribbon, sentiment, and more. I always wonder too if recipients might find the A-2 size a little 'underwhelming', considering it is much smaller than the typical store greeting card. I have a ready box of 250 envelopes and like having the familiarity with the exact dimensions of the layers I want. Although I have lots of other color envelopes, the white or cream work best for a little mail art.

I love square cards. Generally mine are either 5.5 x 5.5 or 6.0 x 6.0. Sometimes I've even been known to create huge cards at 6.5 x 6.5.

You name it, I make it! I design my card around the image I want to use so sometimes it's a standard A2, other times a square ranging up to 6"x 6" and anywhere inbetwe

90% of the time I'll make it fit into a 5 x 7 envelope which means I can do up to 5 x 5" square or any rectangular shape up to the 5 x 7.

I used to make all my cards A2, but now I seem to stick to A7 (5" x7"). That size can accommodate larger images, more interesting layouts, and more embellishment. The A2 seem very small to me now!

As much as I love everyones square cards I seem to usually go with 5x7 mostly because I don't have envelopes for square cards!

I've been making a lot of the 3 1/2 x 6 1/4" cards and they fit in the small business style envelopes. I've also been making lots of 4 1/4 x 4" cards because that's the big piece left after making the 3 1/2 x 6 1/4" size. My next favorite size is the 3 1/2 x 4 7/8" (4bar).

The majority of my cards end up being A2 or 5.5" square. I like mixing it up and creating other sizes, but always seem to go back to making those two sizes.

I stuck with 4.25 x 5.5" for the longest time. Then I got a really fabulous deal on 5.5 x 8.5" card bases and envelopes (25/$0.25). I had a time adjusting to the larger size, but I got used to it and now I have a hard time fitting everything onto the smaller cards ... I guess it's all in what you get used to!

My favourite is 5.5 x5.5, but i'm fast becoming addicted to making 4x4 notelets. I find square cards easier to deal with.Di xx

I like larger cards so I make 5" x 7" or larger
It gives me more space to decorate

I almost always make my cards 4.25 x 5.5. I seldom make square cards because they cost more to mail.
