Default What was I thinking?

I'm on vacation in Seattle (and I think we must have brought our good ol' southwestern heat from Oklahoma up here...sorry about that!). A friend of mine told me about the Impress Store that's just a few blocks from my hotel. Yahoo!

So, I went and I bought three stamps and a pack of paper (Basic Grey Lemonade or something...my first BG purchase!). And of course I don't have any other stamping supplies here so I can only look at the stamps and imagine all the beautiful cards I could be making. It's driving me crazy!

Hope you're able to stay in your hotel room and keep cool. My DH and son in law and good friend all live in Seattle and are about to die. None of them have A/C because in Seattle, it doesn't get hot :>)

Well.. you could locate the A Muse store and maybe do some stamping there?! Not with your new stamps of course... but maybe it'll work out some of that 'can't stamp where I'm at" frustration! Maybe they'll have a class while you're there!

Ooooh you lucky lucky girl! Lemonade is lush! Poor you! I'd be going crazy if that were me, i take it your cash limit won't stretch a wee bit further? Why not have a look in the local paper and see if there's any groups around you while your still there? You know like a day class?

You got me at "bought three stamps and..." I was super impressed that you got out of there with so few items! If you have some down time, try sketching the great ideas in your head so you don't forget them by the time you get home. Don't sketch them in your head obviously! Sketch the ones that are in your head. I'm such a goof ball sometimes.

Impress is always a great time! If you're still in Seattle, you might consider attending THIS craft show. I've never been, but it kinda sounds like a hoot. I think I'm going to try and go, just to see what it's all about!
