I just took a fast glance at the 1st 5 pages in the gallery; I would say that about 75% of the cards have 0 comments; It's definitely not you! I think everyone may be tuckered out between the DD and Papertrey reveals; I myself am heading for the couch to TRY to stay awake thru a movie with my honey!

I just got back to the computer. I left the house at 8:45 for soccer, ran all day till football finished at 5:30, made dinner, got the kids settled... I'm just now starting to look at the uploads Fall is my busy mama time!
I was just looking at a few pages of uploads and was shocked at how many have no comments! It seems everyone is uploading, then going about their lives and no one is commenting. Very quiet tonight. It isn't just you! Sometimes we can think that though.
I am often in a hurry and if I look I don't take the time to comment. I only have a few pictures in my gallery from months agon and I don't think I have more than 2 on each picture. I just like to have them all in one spot.
Don't feel bad...happened to me today, too. I uploaded a card and have gotten lots of "views" and even a few "favorited" but only one comment...that always happens to the cards I like and am excited to post. :(
A great way to get people looking at your on your gallery is to play in the Comment threads. Just catch it when it's active on the board, read the #1 post first to get the rules, then go to the last page and dive in. It's really fun and you get to look at a lot of galleries you might miss. I spent an hour doing that last night and saw some great cards!
There are always days when SCS traffic is lower than other days. And the DD Gallery opened today .. which is always such a wonderful hit with the fans, that it seems we fan club members can easily get "lost" in there. Plus .. it's a beautiful weekend out there! That's where I was .. nearly the entire day! I hope all of these situations make sense, and hopefully help a bit. You have some great cards, BTW!! Keep on stamping and sharing ... without everyone doing just that, we wouldn't have a reason for SCS! ;)
Oh gosh.........it's just so busy.........I got on and made some comments and then took a break and came back and there was a TON more uploads!!! Not that I'm complaining, mind you..........but I feel bad since I need to take a break!!! But I'll go scan in a bit when my insomnia hits and make more comments.............I LOVE seeing all the work.........SU or Non SU!!!! I get fantastic ideas from browsing the galleries!!! Don't let it interfere with your love for stamping or sharing your creations!!!
I think this is one good reason why some ppl on SCS dont have a gallery or very few photos on this. It's discouraging! If you get comments its only kind to return them!!!!
I've seen your cards, and they are great! I have noticed some cards are really good, and have no comments so I've been trying to comment on those cards. I'll keep looking for yours.
The last couple I have uploaded have gotten 0 comments:( I guess sometimes people may look at them but keep going because they dont have time. I dont comment alot since I have limited time with a 18 month old, but I favorite cards I really like.
I've stopped worrying about how many comments I get. Sometimes I'll post a card to the challenges and get a ton of comments so long as I post a link to the card in the thread. However, it seems that if I don't draw attention to my cards like that they don't get many comments. I posted 3 projects yesterday, 1 CASE of Shelli's tags from Convention and 2 altered letters. My CASE has over 250 views, but only 2 comments. It's been favorited 13 times. My two letters don't even have 30 views each. I never know what to think.

Your cards ROCK, but here in NJ it is one of the most BEAUTIFUL days outside, around 68 degrees, sunny and clear. I checked into SCS for messages, but I won't see your new uploads till later...I'm going OUTSIDE!
I never get many comments on my cards, I don't let it bother me anymore.
Comments have dropped off considerably since I joined SCS in 2004. The site has grown very large, and it's almost impossible to see all the wonderful cards being posted.
I used to think that if one of my cards only got a couple of comments that it must not appeal to anyone. Now two comments seem okay, and ten comments or more make me feel like a super star! LOL!
I think in fairness to those of us who are paying members, uploads should be a privilege only for those who pay. That would bring more members into the fold and also cut down on the astronomical numbers of daily uploads.
I know that's not a particularly popular idea, but it seems fair to me. It would make the whole experience more enjoyable for members.
I guess I should be prepared to be flamed. There are so many who always expect something for nothing.

Your question assumes that the number of comments is related to the quality of the card. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Don't let it get to you. Do you like what you posted?? That's the best comment of all -- your own.

I've found that if I upload a card late at night -- I rarely receive any comments. If I upload in mid-morning or afternoon -- they seem to get seen and commented on. Just a thought.
I have it happen a lot lately....I do think that people get busy with the amounts of uploads here daily, it is really hard to get to them all! I still upload stuff though!!
That's not "ouching". I just don't see the big deal. Sometimes people are busy. So many cards are uploaded daily. If someone is just browing quickly through, they may not have time to stop and post a comment for every single one.
I view my gallery as a place to keep my ideas -- I am always surprised how many comments happen later......your cards are beautiful -- love your colors and unique DP
I have found I don't browse the gallary as much because there isn't enough time in the day. Usually I pick a stamp set and look at those cards. So when I make a comment it might not be on a card that was just posted.
