Default What can you do with these?

I have a lot of empty May Arts Ribbon spools from the last ribbon share and wondered if there was a use for the big plastic spools. Does anyone have ideas? It seems like such a waste to throw them out. I am hoping they can be recycled/used as something new!

You could always see if a local preschool / elementary school can use them for something

I recently saw someone ISO for empty ribbon spools so they can sometimes be traded or sold.

Thanks! Good idea

I have some ribbon on the extra plastic spools, but most of my loose ribbon is only a yard or two (maybe three at the most) so I don't store on spools because of the amount of wasted space.

That is a good idea too - I'll see if no one comes up with a crafty suggestion...and then ask the preschools if they can use 'em.

People make albums with the cardboard ones. I am sure there is a use for the plastic - don't toss them
