Default What is the best time to upload?

What do you think is the best time to upload a photo to the gallery? I think that more cards might get commented on if they where uploaded at the peak hit times.

I think that the best time is thursday, friday and saturday, from 5pm-10pm.

What do the rest of you think?

Hmmm...I dunno. I upload them as soon as I can, and don't pay attention to the time. I know that the cards that get the most comments are generally those that are attached to a challenge thread. Wednesday sketch challenges are my fave!

interesting question and i bet you are right on the amount of hits during those times. BUT to play devil's advocate.... if everyone uploaded during those times it would create a lot of cards in the gallery therefore making less comments because there are so many to look at? my reasoning is that i often only have time to look at the first few pages of cards and if tons were being uploaded at that time i would miss quite a few. (does that make any sense? ) i also agree with the above poster that cards attached to a challenge get the most comments as well as those linked to a thread somewhere. for me personally I just upload when I can and feel like it.

I've definitely had the most hits when I upload as late as possible on Saturday evening. The much lower than usual number of uploads on Sunday means that your stuff stays closer to the top for a longer amount of time.

Very clever logic! I never thought of that. I've found uploading in the late afternoons on Thursday and Friday (sometime between 3 pm and 6 pm) generates the most views for my files. The last time I uploaded on Saturday I got substantially fewer views than files I uploaded the previous day, but that was a couple of weekends before Christmas so all bets are off during that time period. :-)

I think it's pretty safe to say we all enjoy reading comments that people post on our cards. If you play in the thread below you get to give and receive. It's fun!

Well, gosh, some of you folks are just so good at what you do, you would get comments minutes after posting no matter when you did!!!

Kurtis, I commented on a few of yours late last night. I'm a night owl viewer, however, I'm also reclined on the couch by that time, so I've been very remiss (some might call it lazy ;) )in commenting.

That was one of my New Year's goals - If I'm going to admire a card, I could at the very least post a comment... I think I owe thousands of thank yous for all the cards that have awed me on this site!

I would agree with the posters that said challenge cards tend to get quite a few comments (especially when you add a link to your card in the challenge thread).

My gallery is little but I have not watched the time I upload at all. Never really thought about it.
