Default Wedding Decorations - Suggestions???

Ok, this can involve stamped and non-stamped items...and I know that all of you ladies are so creative. And combined, I think this place is the biggest creative force in the WORLD!!! I humbly ask for your help.

My friend is getting married in March. The colors are deep, rich chocolate and pale pink. The attendant's dresses are chocolate.

For the reception, she's going to have 12 round tables and the head table will be 3 6-footers put together. She wants to decorate half with flowers and the other half with something 1950's style in pale pink and chocolate.

Any and all ideas are appreciated. Again, it doesn't have to be something totally stamp related...partly because I'm the stamper in the group and my baby's due one month before the wedding.

Also, if anyone has some creative ideas for how to display baby pictures of the couple as well as momentos from their years of dating, that would be helpful, too.

Oh, and if you have pictures to help show what you're describing, that would be great!!

Thanks and I can't wait to see what ideas yall have!

I did a box for a co-workers shower, Her colors were blush and black. I die cut a box that closes as a heart. It was an accu cut die. I stamped medium sized polka dots on the sides of the box in black and then I dry embossed lines on the sides of the box. I stamped their initials on the heart closure part and then after I glued the box together I put black grograin ribbon around the top of the box. It looked like a hat box. I don't know how to post a picture but if you have any questions I would be glad to explain more if I need to. You could just replace the black with Chocolate Chip. Please pm me if you have any questions. The box is only about 2 1/2 x 2 1/2. We put little bags of bath salts in them and they smelled wonderful.

Hope that helps,
Kathy

This isnt stamping related but I think very cool!
My photographer had us do an engagement photo shoot at a park and then he picked out a lovey dovey picture of us smoochin' and then blew it up HUGE and put a HUGE white mat around it. He posted at the reception on an easel and had a gold ink pen and everyone got to sign it and write little happy notes. It is my most precious item from our wedding. I have it in my dining room framed now. I can post a pic if you would like to see it.
