Default Wedding Almond Favor - Poem or Idea?

Hi - my soon to be DIL asked me to stamp/design her wedding favor using the wedding/candy almonds. Does anyone have a poem for this or an idea of any kind?! Thanks in advance ...

If you google "wedding favor poem" a ton of sites pop up. I couldn't find one almond specific, but I'm sure there is something you can use. There are a lot of cute ones! BTW, did you know that the number of almonds/candies you use in the favor is a "prediction" of the number of kids the bride & groom are going to have? ;)

Here is one that I've used in the past:

Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat,
Remind us that life is both bitter and sweet,
Five wishes for the new husband and wife --
Health, wealth, happiness, family, and a long life.

I'm sure I found it on the web somewhere. You can probably find many versions. Good luck!

Reading the above posts.....I cam up with this little poem for your wedding favors. This will only interest you if you want a little humor involved.

Today we are married, tommorrow we'll start
To live life together, never really apart.

The almonds presented to guests on this day
Number five for a reason, that's what they all say.

Five sugared almonds will bring five little tikes!
We hope we'll be ready, right now we say Yikes!

Thanks all for the info and ideas! Mothermark - way funny! They hope to have 'lots' of children - and they want to start right away - so that poem is so appropriate!! And humor is always best in my book! (If the number of almonds predicts the number of children, I guess I'd better buy more almonds. I'd like to jumpstart a lot of grandkids!!!). Thanks again, everyone!

Didn't work in my case, we only had one, however, we are coming up on our 25th wedding anniversary the end of May! Wonder if there is a wedding poem about sticking like glue!
