There are lots of online designers with stores on Etsy that can create watermarks, blog headers and things of that nature. Good luck!

Thank you for the quick reply. In my continuing research I found a program that I downloaded to my iPad called Impression for $1.99 and it is exactly what I needed to create a simple text watermark. So excited, I have already tried it out Nd am pleased.

I use Visual Watermark.

Visual Watermark Software for Mac and Windows - Watermark 100s of Photos

ETA: But I just used the PicMonkey program and it worked beautifully. Not sure if you can do a batch mode or not but I liked it - TFS!

I have been experimenting with the PicMonkey program. There are a lot of great options included in the free version. Thanks again kerbear!

I just checked the App Store on my iPad and unfortunately that program isn't available. I take my pictures and load from my iPad rather than my laptop. But thanks again.

Most people make their own, using something like Photoshop. If you have Photoshop, the process is quite simple. Open up a transparent background, then open up your logo. Drag the Logo onto the transparent background. You can add Text at this point, if you want. Anything you add should be on a new layer, so you can adjust positioning. When you are happy, you can Merge Visible, Or Flatten image. Save as a PSD, then you can play about with transparency levels, colours etc. Always save the finished article as a PSD. When you want to add your logo to an image, open both in Photoshop, drag the watermark onto your image, position it where you want it, then 'Save As'- I usually add a 'W' to the pic number, and save as a jpeg. This way your original image is saved without a watermark. Hth.

Thank you for this fantastic information. I have photo shop and appreciated not having to scrounge for the directions to do this. I will file this info away in a safe place and when I feel ambitious enough to open Photoshop up again, I will give it a whirl! I did find an App for my iPad called Impression that allows me to easily create watermarks. It is incredibly convenient because I use my iPad to take and import the pictures. Again I thank you for the instructions.
