Please forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer. I know copics work with digital stamps but has anyone tried watercolors and watercolor paper? My printer is a Canon ip3500.
I've done this on watercolour paper using my Canon printer. The ink did run so you may want to test it first on a scrap or use a fixative. I'm not sure using a fixative will work since that will cause the paint to float on top of the paper - the purpose of watercolour is so the water soaks into the paper. Here's the sample I did using a free colouring book page I printed off the internet:
There is a workable fixative, which is designed specifically to allow you to continue to add color media after sealing the ink. I love the stuff, but I can't say I've ever tried it on watercolor paper.
latelly I've been using more watercolor pencils w/blender pen with my digis.
just so much faster to color them with ;)
I use GP white paper and haven't had any problem.
