I am interested in several Waltzingmouse stamps but before I purchase them I would love to hear an opinion on the quality of the stamps. If someone has tried them I would love to hear about them.
I only have one set, but I like them. The images stamped nicely, they did turn yellow, but does not affect the stamping at all. Go for it!
Hi - I'd be interested to hear about the stamps that turned yellow, my stamps are designed not to yellow, they are made from a special formula of polymer that resists yellowing. So please do contact me. I am interested to hear more.
Some inks, in particular some of the palette inks, seem to stain all clear stamps and I wonder if this is the case in your instance, do pop me a pm for a chat about it, many thanks!
I'm interested in these stamps. How do you order from the US? How do I make the conversion to US dollars etc...
Thanks Claire your stamps are so pretty!!!

Many thanks for asking!! I appreciate your interest in WMS!
The best way is to go to the store and pick the items you like. Then look at the shipping page, I have listed there what the postal charges are for shipping to the States.
For example, say I want two sets, that's 27, then I go to the shipping page and see that shipping to the States for two sets is 3.40, that makes my total 30.40 GBP (- that's around $47 US Dollars at todays xe.com rate.)
At this point you can use the instore currency converter - it is located in the right hand menu at the bottom. You can enter the 30.40 GBP and have it converted to US dollars.
The other way is to load up the cart and proceed to enter your shipping address, the shipping will be automatically calculated for you, if you do it this way tho, you have to navigate back to the store and use the currency converter.
Alternatively you can proceed with your purchase and see what the paypal conversion is, this is the most accurate way since this is what you will actually be charged through paypal.
Always bear in mind that until you confirm the order with paypal, the order is not final and you can still cancel at that point.
Also should you place an order, and then decide it's not right for you I will refund your order immediately! you just have to pop me an email soon as possible, as I ship pretty quickly, sometimes same day, but definitely next day (except for Sunday)!! lol!
I've been very pleased with the speed at which most orders reach the US, the majority are 7 days, and the shipping is not as bad as I imagined it might be, but watch this space!! the bigger my company gets - the closer I am to securing a deal with Royal Mail and if I get discount, you get discount! simple as that!! lol,
Now, if you managed to read right to the end of this you deserve a pat on the back, all us Irish can talk...maybe too much...lol
Love these stamps. I have 2 sets and they are wonderful to use. To order from the US just use their website. The site will translate the order into $ for you.

Only you can judge whether shipping is worth it or not, but as I mentioned above, the price of two sets including shipping to the States is around $47.44 at todays rate, this changes of course but I think it compares ok, I've seen stamps of similar quality that cost $48 without shipping anywhere.
hope that helps, and shipping is one of those things I'm constantly trying to reduce.

Sorry, I missed the previous post. I do love your designs and shipping is what shipping is. Not too much you can do about government postal rates. That seems very fair. I've paid more for less for shipping within the US. Thanks for answering.
PS. I really like that you are making stamps to coordinate with nesties. I love this idea and SU has been doing it a while but their punches are too expensive for me and they take up a lot of space. Any more in the works?

LOL, I'm trying to bargain for a reduction in shipping rates here!! I know shipping is unavoidable but since I'm a good customer I figure they'll give me discount at some point, which of course, I will pass on to my customers!!!
thank you for asking, I appreciate the opportunity to talk about this issue!!

OOOOoooooohhh yes!!!!!! hang on to your hats - 2 next month, and one is extra special!!!!
and have you seen all those lovely new shapes they just released!!!! I'm a Spellbinders Junkie!! lol, I'll get to them all eventually, well sooner than that actually! lol

I am not a Spellbinders Junkie but might be if I had some coordinating stamps. Will be sure to hang on to hat as suggested. By next month, I will have money in the budget once again.
I have been looking at these stamps for awhile - love the sets designed to go with the nesties, and excited to hear there are more in the works! Guess I am going to have to give in to the temptation and get some too
I have a tip for using Claire's stamps with the nestie dies. It is easy because her stamps are clear.
Cut the die first. Put the die cut on a piece of double sided temporary adhesive (I just use the brand by scotch tape) on your table. Ink up your coordinating stamp and stamp away. Soo much easier than stamping first and then die cutting.

Waltzingmouse Stamps are some of the best on the market ~ excellent quality, great service and the designs are simply fresh. Claire has brought a breath of fresh air to stamping.
And another thought on the nestie-compatible stamps ~ they are beautiful to use even without the dies.

excellent Joan, doh! why didn't I think of that!! lol

I just discovered your blog and your stamps through this thread. Congratulations on your wonderful designs and I'm so glad to hear that your stamps are such good quality. I'll be shopping soon.
I just noticed that you use the British spelling of "Mum" in your sentiment sets and thought I'd mention that the Americans (and Canadians) tend to spell it "Mom". If you are able to, you might want to incorporate both spellings in future stamp sets. Just a thought. (It's so tough to please everyone!!)

Ha Joan,
I'm the complete opposite... I always stamp and then cut... does that mean I'm backwards (lol)..
Love Claire's stamps, a great value, shipping is "spot on" and even better than many companies, and love Claire herself!
I have several of Claire's sets and they are all wonderful. Each stamp creates a crisp beautiful image. I use them over and over and they have stayed very nice. I don't have all the nesties but I think the shapes are easy to cut out by hand. Ordering from Waltzingmouse Stamps is quite easy and you can't beat the customer service Claire offers. I hope you give them a try.

I love Waltzingmouse stamps. I ordered the very first two sets as soon as they were available. I just couldn't resist the super cute gingerbread boys. I haven't been able to order since, unfortunately, since I've been on a tighter budget, but I have a long wish list because I love Claire's designs. I plan to make several orders this year!

All the best,

Oh and I was going to be good...might have to look now as I'm a "mum" and so is my MIL - I just had to make a birthday card for her with "mother" on rather than "mum"
I'm another happy customer of Claire's...only have one set but love that the designs match Nestie shapes!
