Default votive holder

I'm looking for the instructions for the votive holder that looks like our tag punch.
Can anyone help me?

Have you tried a search in the galleries using SCS's powerful search engine?

You might try using "votive", "tag", and "punch" as your keywords in an advanced search and see what that pulls up?

If you're still having trouble finding it, perhaps you can provide a few more details/descriptors and it might help us help you. ;)

Does it have tag-shaped openings/windows? Is the whole thing tag shaped?

Is this what you're looking for?: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

If you go to the gallery and do a search for "votive holder" you will find several examples there.

And for a truly safe vellum candle holder, have you seen these:Battery Operated Tea Lights ? My mom sent me some of these, and they are neat! They flicker like a real candle, with NO FEAR of starting a fire! They would be perfect for something like this! Google LED tea lights, and you will get lots of hits!

Just went to Michaels and they had them on sale for 2.99 each or five for 9.99. I used my 40% off coupon and got both. Can't wait to use them!

Smile Battery-powered votives

I got mine at Michaels, but also saw them recently at our local Walgreens drug store. They were also out before Halloween at Joann's if you don't mind the orange base to them. I used a tealight in the one shown in a strand above, and was amazed that the votive screen didn't get hot. If you use a tealight, make sure you put it on something like a tile or sandstone coaster like I was using, as the tealight can get mighty hot on the bottom and may scortch your table top.

I have another question. On the vellum what ink are you using, can I use the classic ink without it smearing. I don't have craft ink.

I used a bulk package of vellum that I had picked up at Joann's a while back. I used the classic ink pads, just being careful to allow time for the images to dry before doing anything else. They're so fun to make! To keep mine sturdy, I made a second set of panels, this time cut apart and slightly cut down and I glued them to the inside. I thought it also made a cleaner look to the finished product. Have fun!
