Any NEW products, ideas or designs out there for this coming Christmas? I looked through the offerings of all my favorite companies and the only trends I noted were tiny prints on everything and lots of houses/towns motifs. Last year I fell in love with chalkboard stuff and this year, so far, nothing new has grabbed me. Also, I still waiting to find papers using non-traditional colors and color combinations, way too much green and red for my taste. Any suggestions where to look?

Theres a couple of groups that do christmas all year, probably if you look at what people do in their challenges you will get some ideas. Or just type in Christmas here in the Galleries or for a quicker look go to google image and type in christmas cards even try different searches like pink christmas cards or silver christmas cards etc. or try pinterest.
I'm seeing a trend this year that looks a LOT like stationery companies, similar to Rifle Paper Company. This translates into the look of hand-scripted sentiments, watercolor, and small collages of images. The new SU set from the Holiday Mini called Nature's Peace fits this trend to a T.
I think we'll still see lots of woodland animals, including deer, moose, rabbit, hedgehog, fox. This will fit with anything woodgrained as well.
Looks like sequins and all things golden are still trending as well.
Lots of new releases are trickling in from the summer trade shows. I've seen sneak peeks from Lawn Fawn, Simple Stories, and others.

This card is absolutely gorgeous! And it shows the houses/town trend Lutheran mentioned. I'm seeing a lot of that too.
I saw a lot of that last year as well. Christmas in the city, with city skylines, seemed to be a theme last year that will probably continue over into this year as well.
When I first started card making, many moons ago, the Christmas trend was doorways and door dcor. City trends and skylines have always been around but there are differences in how they're treated --traditional, whimsical, fairy tale/mystical, etc.
