Default For those going unmounted...

I just posted how I unmounted my sets on my blog ~ in case those of you are thinking about going unmounted.

This is the way that I did it, I'm sure that there are different ways. Everyone does things their own way, but here's the way that I did mine.

Just in case anyone is interested. And if there are any tips that anyone may think is easier, please let me know.... I would love to hear it.

TFL.... ;)
Hugs,
Joani

Well, let's see...

If you buy some vinyl cling, you don't have to ditch your cushion from your SU! stamps. Just adhere the cling to the back of the sticky cushion and it will let your stamps adhere to acrylic blocks.

The other suggestion I have is to get a Hot Knife. With a Hot Knife and a glass mat, you simply trim your rubber to the size you want, put it on your EZ Mount and use your Hot Knife to trim the EZ Mount away...it goes through it like BUTTAH! No more horrible sticky scissors from trimming the EZ Mount. I just got mine last week and have been mounting stamps like mad!

Here's a tutorial on how it's done and a place to buy the Hot Knife:

I myself did not go for the cling because I liked that the thickness of the thin mount is about 1/2 of the existing mount. I personally like the thinner mounting.

Oh how I was wanting one of those craft knives. I actually did not know about them til I was 1/2 way thru unmounting mine. Thanks for the link
