Oh I feel so bad!
I was sitting here looking at the cards for inspiration and I happened to pick up the card I got from Zena.. there was a note behind the inner liner (cool idea that I am now doing to) and on the back of the little note was little rhinestones!

I have been assembling cards like a mad woman this weekend.
I went to buy some more adhesive and they were out of my usual so I bought some Tombow Aqua. Love how I can use so little. Well, the cards I pt together yester, I pulled them out to stuff into envies only to find them all funky and curled! OMG! I wanna cry!
Seriously I only used a tiny dot in each corner or several along a edge
They looked so nice yesterday when I took pics for the gallery.

Anybody ever pay over a $1.00 postage because of (a) bead, as in 1 you can feel. I was charged $1.22 rather than .44. The lady specifically said, "I can feel the bead so I have to charge you more."
Just wondering, and if so what did you do to card to avoid this outrageous additional charge. (to me it is outrageous)

did you turn the card inside out ? I have seen several ladies put a piece of cardstock in there as well. Not sure sorry about that but I have paid a 1.00 before, and i also thought that was outrageous. but a 1.22 WOW.
You know, I never thought about doing that! I was thinking maybe a piece of foam place over it. I am going to do something differently. It would not be so bad if it was weight or something. But "I feel the bead, so I have to charge more." And what makes me mad is that is someone who worked for the post office told me, "even though they charge extra to hand cancel, they still run it through the machine." Don't know if there is any validity to that statement. But the extra is possibly for nothing.

Got a beautiful card today from Patricia in Indiana! Beautiful angel, glittery, gorgeous fall colors. I love the top note die accent and the gold ribbon. Love It!

At my PO, they have a card with a slot in it. They slip the card through and if it fits, it's OK. A 44 cent stamp will do. If it's too thick, I usually have to pay maybe 20 cents more or so. They weigh it, too. I think that $1.22 is ridiculous just because it has a bead.
I got a gorgeous card today from Vikki. I LOVE IT! Thanks Vikki. Love the green embossed background overlayed with a beautifully colored rose bouquet with purple roses and softly colored leaves and stems. The flowers areembossed and have a lovely irridescent(?) look to them. (PearlEx??) This scene lays slightly askew atop a black background and is framed by a peeking of purple. Inside there is more embossed paper and a sentiment atop that. You really have to just see it. When I get the take picture/upload thing going, I will post it.

Thats it, thats it!!! I love that ribbon too. You know what, after I thought about it a couple more days, it dawned on me it might be going to Canada. I MUST keep better track than I am doing now. So glad it arrived!
