Default Tack n' Peel question

Tack n' Peel comes in a 4 by 6 1/2 inch sheet. Many stamps and therefore stamp blocks are larger than that. I was talking about this with a fellow SCS member and we think you could just cut an additional piece of Tack n' Peel on the block.

I'm just wondering if the seam where two pieces of Tack n' Peel meet would effect how it stamps. I'd like to know if it works before I go buy more of it.

Have any of you used Tack n' Peel on a large block?

To answer your question, I have never used 2 pieces, but it is very Tacky. I only have a one inch strip down the center of my block to hold my odd shaped letters down. I think it would work fine with a splice, but have you tried using just the piece you have? I would actually try that before buying more.

Yes, I have used multiple pieces of Tack n' Peel to cover the larger blocks. Works just fine. Marsha

I have a block that I had to patch pieces onto rather than buy a new sheet as it is a bit expensive down here. It has worked fine - just like a single piece. I now have a really large block I will buy two sheets for and patch it on as well. I love Tack'n'peel...

I have tried using a smaller piece and it doesn't work. The Tack n' Peel sits high enough off the block to produce an unevenly stamped image.
