I like the look of swirls in some of the cards and don't know which set to get to get the most bang for my buck -- Priceless, Baroque Motifs, French Flair BG??? Or, perhaps there's another company that has some. What think you stampers????
DRS Designs, www.drsdesigns.com has a couple of large "swirls"...I really like them...they actually just released one of them this month...check out their backgrounds page to find both of them...
I purchased a set by Rhonda (Rhoda?) Ferrar at Target for around $11. The are similar in style to Baroque Motifs and I thought it was a nice way to test out the swirly idea without the investment. They are clear acrylics and I really love them!
There's so many great ones I can't really say which I like the most, but I can say that the french flair background stamp was really hard for me to use. HTH
Got to Frugalities and check out the clear stamps. I just got an order in from them and bought the Autumn Leaves Rhonna Ferrar swirls set. Haven't used it yet, but it was a bargain and I really like the set. It seemed like a good and inexpensive entry in the world of swirls. I also have the BG stamp French swirls or whatever it's called (senior moment!) and really like that for cards.
I like all those sets, but if I had to choose just one it would be the Priceless. I find I can do more stuff with the smaller swirls. I do really like the Flair one as a background though

I'll have to check these out. I really like DRS Designs

I have the Autumn Leaves swirl stamps too. But dye inks will bead up and look splotchy, so use a thicker ink (stazon, pigment, chalk inks)
I have and love the Rhona Farrer swirls and flowers. I use chalk ink and any of the Memories ink pads. Usually use the Memories Black or Memories Midnight Blue. Try rubbing them gently with an eraser. I don't have beading problems. Stamp on scrap paper, clean them and use a scrubby stamp cleaning pad. HTH

On my last SU order, I could not decide so I got Priceless and Baroque Motfis. In my opinion, Baroque is classier and Priceless is more whimsical. I guess it depends on your mood.
