Please help. I "need" an animal set for children's cards, which I sometimes have trouble making. I'm going back and forth between these two sets and driving myself insane in the process. Any thoughts on which should be THE purchase????

Well, I prefer Wild about You because its solid images are quick and easy for kid cards, and they are so cute. You can get fancy and pop up parts (like the elephant ears or lion mane and face) or keep it simple.
Both cute sets! I like Zoofari paired with the Family Phrases set. I have lots of customers that borrow the Zoofari set frequently to make birthday cards and invitations. I also like making cute little 3x3 gift cards with that set. My neighbor has used Wild About You on a cute nameframe for her daughter's room. Don't know if any of that helps
I like Wild About You - like the above poster mentioned, you an do a lot with cutting pieces out and popping them up and such. Personally, I decided on Wild About You over Zoofari because you don't have to color them in! I'm a big fan of solid images.
Cute As A Bug is another great kid-friendly set - same idea there.
I think the 'Zoofari 'is a wonderful set for children's cards. I like making 'Color Me' cards in which I stamp the image and then tie on a couple of crayons so that the child can color their own birthday, get well, etc. card. That being said, there are some darling cards you can also make with the 'Wild About You' stamp set. Check out the gallery to get more ideas -- that might help you make your decision.
Another vote for Wild About You. I don't have copics and can't seem to color with my Stampin Up markers so I shied away from Zoofari (but it is sooo cute!).
Good luck deciding... at least they didn't retire either for the new catty.

I'll vote for Wild About You bc it can also go for non-kid card, especially baby cards. Although I've seen some very cute stuff with Zoofari, I sorta think the animals look like a little kid drew them (or myself with my left hand). No offense to those who love it... maybe you'd like my left handed drawings! *wink
I have and love both but if you're looking for versatility than go for Wild about you. I think you can make this card work for just about any age and they can be quick and easy since they're solid images.
I prefer Wild About You. I've seen great cards done with Zoofari, but it's certainly not a set I'd have high up my list, whereas I am so glad I have Wild About You; I've used it for both adults and children.
But I think it does depend a bit on your own style - I know some people aren't big into solid stamps. But then - I'd have counted myself in there, it's one of the few solid sets I own.
I have both and decided to earmark one for trading or selling. I'm going to keep Wild About You and let the Zoofari animals go. Not an easy choice, but I think Wild About You is more versatile ... and when I look at the Zoofari grins they just start to look a little crazed to me.
I went through the same process of trying to decide and finally decided on zoofari. I like the set but still am not sure if I made the right choice. I don't like the snake in the set and I cut off the snakes tongue because I think it looks like he is smoking. Not that I have anything against smoking it just looked strange to me. At the time of purchase I was into coloring and I have since decided I needed a few more solid stamps so I don't spend all my time coloring. I don't know if this will help or not.
I like Wild About You. Check out the galleries for both sets and see which you like better. I just love all the options with the Wild About You set!
This is how I made my choice.. I used the gallery and I was pretty much convinced for Wild About You.. it's coming on Monday YIPPEE! (I ordered from last catalog .. needed a "few" things)
I think the snake in zoofari looks like he's smoking (his tongue) so I went with Wild About You and I LOVE IT!! I've used it for lots of baby/kids cards!

Wild about you is my fav~I have it and have no need or desire to get another animal set...well except for the prehistoric pals...love that one also, but that is kinda boyish.

I thought the same thing!! nice to know someone else had that thought ;)
I have zoofari & you don't necessarily have to color-I stamp on the colored paper that would go with that animal. I use Creamy Caramel for the lion, gray for the elephant-you get the idea.
