Yes that is the one. Sorry I had not seen the other two threads about it.

Based on what I read on there, it looks like I might pass on that one, doesn't seem like it would be better than what I am already doing.

Thank you for your prompt reply

I like the glimmer pad! It gives a nice effect on darker colors.

Here's a link from going to the gallery and typing Illuminate Glimmer you can see how people have been using it. It looks like it is probably hard to photograph well though.

Yes it is hard to get a good picture of a card made with it.

Here is one I made using it:

Halloween 2012 by craftymomto2 at Splitcoaststampers

I used it on the gray background (brayer embossing folder before embossing) and you can see it really well on the black card stock.

I have several projects using the illuminate pad:

3 Monkeys throwing around some....PAPER!!!: Ghouls are all AROUND!!!!!

3 Monkeys throwing around some....PAPER!!!: Illuminate ink for your Halloween cards!

And here is a project that using the Shimmer Paint Frost. But I had also included a comparison of the shimmer paint and the illuminate pad with pictures:

3 Monkeys throwing around some....PAPER!!!: Fancy favor baby bag

It is very hard to photograph but the illuminate does have a lot of shimmer to it.
