SU and design teams

I tried a search on this and came up with nothing though I am sure it has come up before. I see alot of SU demos on DT's. I am assuming SU doesn't have a policy against this or is it a don't ask don't tell kind of thing?

You are allowed to be on a design team, as long as the company isn't one that does direct sales like SU.

I always wondered though who does the design work for SU, do they have a permanent DT? How do you get that job? :p
