I assume most of us store them in the cd cases, but do you keep them in the set they came in, or is better to do sentiments, flowers, nature, occasions, etc??
I went overboard at Mike's last night and bought 9 sets... so now I'm trying to figure out how to go about storing them.
Thanks for the help!

I use the baseball card plastic sleeves. Its the perfect fit, and you can fit about 9 sets on one page. Then they go in a three ring binder, easy peasy..

Yep, ditto that, I do the same thing

I store mine in CD cases by occasions/image. Valentine/Love, Birthday, Flowers etc. Then I label the cd case "studio G and what they are" Works best for me because I don't want to have to take them in and out of packages etc. But that is just me. The baseball card things sounds good too.
I vote for the baseball card holders also. 9 to a page and a notebook full of 80 sets takes up very little room. I have them indexed by themes in my notebook. and so many of them work together. It's fun to flip thru the book and pull out what I need instead of digging thru my other stamps. Very portable for a weekend/getaway of stamping!
I have mine in CD cases by occasion/subject and I sticky taped the sheet that they come on to the inside cover of the case. The one that is printed with the designs on it. Then I put a clear address label printed with the subject on the spine of the CD Case.
Don't feel bad about 9. I bought 18!

MMMM...still in the orginal wrappers...I have them all in a big placon to keep them air tight and then I also turn the container upside down to keep them out of as much light as possible.
I like the baseball card sleeve idea...I saw somewhere I can remember where...someone had used acetate sheets cut them in smaller pieces and organized the stamps on each sheet and then slid them into a 6x6 scapbook D ring album...its small and you can take it with you. Hmmmm...I think I might try it...I'm using my peg board right now...
The system has 8x8 laminated sheets with sleeves to slip them into and a box to hold them all.
I can fit about 9 Studio G stamps on one sheet. My plan is to divide the sheet into a grid of nine blocks. I will scan the image sheets or just tape them to a piece of cardstock for the index.
I absolutely love this new storage system. Others have made similar storage systems by laminating sheets of cardstock and using a photo box. But if you do the math its really a great ready to go system, all the work is done already. I went with this system for all of my un-mounted stamps, acrylic and Ez-mount red rubber.
Check them out! I love being a cheeky little monkey
I have mine in the original packages. Lined up in a basket. I am not really one to separate my sets. I wish I had enough to stand up in the basket better. I just don't get to my Mike's when they have any in stock. :(

I took all of mine out of their packages and sorted them out by theme. I don't consider the Studio G stamps "sets" like I do SU stamps so I had no problem breaking them up and putting them in CD cases. I don't even remember how many CD cases I have for them, but some of the themes are birthday, floral, friendship, etc.
I have mine in a binder on transparency sheets, sorted by theme ... easier for me to see all of the sentiments or flowers or whatever than when they are in sets ... (this was after I bought a couple of them twice! )
I keep mine in their original inside packaging and just sort them into existing storage boxes that would match. I organize my non SU sets in ArtBin storage boxes, so I just put the Studio G stamps in a box with similar stamps.
I found my baseball card holders at office depot & just transferred all my studio g stamps just last weekend. It works great! I did put a plain peice of paper in between each holder so that I could see the stamps a little easier.

I have the baseball card holder/3-ring binder system for mine, too.
I leave them on the original little plastic sheet because it has the images in black, and I think it's easier to tell what the stamp is that way. If I put them in CD cases, they would just look like a bunch of Jello to me, lol.

I got some white cardstock laminated at Kinkos, then attached my stamps to the paper. After I have a sheet full, I ink up all the stamps, and stamp them on another sheet of white cardstock. All of this goes in page protecters and then into a binder.
Make sense? I hope so. I can see all my stamps and how they looked inked up very eay this way.

I did the same...flowers, hearts, boys, girls, greetings etc. Makes it easier to find what i am looking for and I don't have to look through each set for one little thing.
I keep them organized by similar themes like some others on the thread. What I like most about these is they are like the SU clam boxes and can go in a 3-ring binder.
