Yes or nor? I'm thinking about purchasing it but keep going back and forth. Does it take up a bunch of space? Do people mostly use it to transport blocks when stamping places other than home? I currently have my blocks in a basket for easy grabbing. I'd love your opinions on the storage case. It's about $17. Thanks for your help!

If you don't have one, and think you might be traveling frequently with your blocks, I would get it. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it's nice to have. However, mine never closed correctly. I mean, it closed up fine for transport, and the problem is hard to describe, but I am OCD enough that it bugged the heck out of me. But I did have one of the first ones to come out, so it might have been a manufacturing issue that has since been resolved.
When I stamp at home, I have two blocks that stay on my desk that work most of the time. Otherwise, I will grab an SU or CTMH block from whichever case happens to be closer. I had decided that I really needed both cases for the blocks as I started collecting them-- keeping them in a basket on the top of a cabinet wasn't working for me.
(Lately, though, I've been using my CTMH blocks the most, but that's because I have inks in the same caddy, so that goes along when I travel, and I only need to take along one case. But both sets are nice.)
I absolutely love mine. It keeps my blocks organized and free from dust. It helps me remember to put my blocks away at the end of stamping and is easy to grab and go too. I am definitely glad I have it. It isn't that big, only a smidge deeper than two blocks.

Love mine! Protects my blocks from scratches and stuff and it's nice to have a dedicated space for each one. I also keep my cleaning cloth in it. And it's easy to grab and go should I want to travel with them!

I don't keep my blocks in it all the time. Just when I tidy up or I travel. But I like having a dedicated space. And they pop out easier the more you use it.
I do like mine, but agree that sometimes trying to pry the blocks out can be a bit challenging. The other thing that's happened is that when I dropped it on a carpeted surface, one of the hinges had a chunk just snap right off. It still closes fine, but I have to be careful to make sure the hinge is set correctly before I do latch it.
I tend to keep my most-used blocks on my craft table, but it is nice to have a specific place to keep them all together.
Thanks for your input! I put in a very large SU order today, but I did not include the storage case. I decided that if I need it, there are always more opportunities to order! I lost my mojo for a while, sort of forced myself to make a few cards, had this opportunity to order and now am so excited! I can't wait to get my stuff! The only problem was that I spent a lot and wasn't thrilled with the freebie choices during
SAB this time. Oh, I hardly ever travel to stamp, so I think the basket of blocks will work fine for now. Unless any of you happen to live in ND and want to get together to stamp...?

I feel your excitement! I put in a large order three weeks ago and will do one more on Saturday and I must agree. sAB was not at all exciting. I got the banner stamp set and punch. I will be getting the designer paper this time and then letting a friend get the banner punch since there is nothing more I wanted.
I love my case, but I do most of my stamping on the go. Clear blocks are a little too easy to lose on a messy desk or on the floor when you drop one (or the cats decide the smallest one looks like fun and bat it off the desk), so I like having the case as a way to make sure I didn't lose/forget one.

Good point...I've lost all my "extra" blocks I used when I had classes....
I have two : ) I agree with those that mentioned the tight fit loosens up with use. You want them to be snug so they stay put when traveling. If you make sure you grab them where the finger-holds are cut into the foam, there shouldn't be a problem getting them in and out even when it's brand-new-snug.
That said--mine are normally out all over the table, unless I'm headed somewhere!!

Since I have two sets of blocks but also own varying multiples of the sizes I use the most, the case idea doesn't work well for me. When I travel with my blocks, I always advance-mount the stamps we'll be using so take only the blocks I need to keep my bag as light as possible.
I am lucky to have a library card file and my blocks are stored in a couple of those drawers. It's right next to my stamp table and very convenient. I can even slide an entire drawer out when necessary.
I have given up on mine. They just wont go in the spots and then I can't get them back out so I gave up. Will try the suggestion about about storing in cases!

I have the same problem; mine is constantly coming off of the "hinge" on one side every time I open it....very frustrating. I do love the convenience. I don't travel with mine just use it here at home. I keep it on the floor next to my counter and just reach down when I need it so it does not take up valuable work space.
