We have a new archival ink that will be available September 1st when the new Holiday catalog starts. I used it at convention and really like it!

What Carmen said! It's really great! They also did the same thing with basic gray and it will be available then too! The black is a true black (as previous pads turned purple) and it's not smeary like the firm foam black.

It is important to note that these are archival pads so they are not the firm foam like the rest of the colors. They are a linen pad, much like our old ones.

That is good news. I quit buying stampin' up black because it always turned purple.

Can I use alcohol markers with the new ink? Right now I only use memento tuxedo black for those markers and versa fine for everything else.
