Am new to the group, so I hope I am doing this correctly (sorry, I will read all the background info...I promise). I would like to be able to stamp onto an umbrella and am not sure if there is a medium I can use to do this. Most craft paint requires heat setting - very difficult to do with an umbrella... Any suggestions??? Have thought of using fabric paint but it does not come in an ink pad, so not sure how I could use it with rubber stamps...
You can use your fabric paint to stamp with. You can apply the paint with a foam brush or put a puddle of paint on a plate as a "pad" if you'd rather. Just check on the heat setting part of whatever you use. Most heat tools will probably be too hot for a nylon umbrella (I'm guessing), but you could just put it outside to dry--112 degree heat index here today! ;)
Let us know what you do!

First of all, welcome to SCS. There is an inkpad called Fabrico, manufactured by Tsukineko, that might work. If you do a Google search, you will find places that sell it. I'd love to see the umbrella when you're done. Please post photos.
