My husband went with my daughter and her husband to the Equine Affair at the Big E fairgrounds in Springfield, Mass., so I've had time to just stamp all day yesterday and most of today! I actually designed and made five different cards yesterday....that hasn't happened in ages! I even did a VSN themed card. It feels good to be back in the groove!

What a treat for you. Don't you just love those days - they happen so seldom.
I'm looking forward to a day in my craft room today. We have no plans for the day and dinner is going to be leftover chili (good for the chilly day we're having today). As soon as I get my second cup of coffee I'm going to head into my room and get started.

Good for you! I can relate! My dh left Friday for hunting camp, and he'll be gone till Monday night. He'll be home for a couple of days before he heads out again for a few more days. So I'll have the house to myself, and hopefully get some cards done!
Good for you all that time to stamp! I have been sick for over a week and not able to stamp now that was rough!! Feeling better so DH needs to watch out next week I will be at my desk daily!

I often wonder why I don't have more time to stamp. We have no kids at home, although our grandchildren are with us most weekends. I have someone come once a week to do my floors and clean the downstairs bathroom. My husband is retired, so he helps out a lot with cooking and the washing, and he does all the shopping. Where do the days go?! It always amazes me that young women with little ones can find even a minute to themselves!

I wonder this myself. But I think I know the answer to MY problem: lack of organization. I am a SAHW with no children and lots of "freedom". But because of my lack of organization, I seem to get so little accomplished. I see women who juggle a million and one projects, including family responsibilities, housework, a secular job, and are still able to accomplish so much (incl. stamping!), but they appear to be highly organized. If I could implement a schedule and stick to it, I'd get so much more done. But this is hard for me as I've been "disorganized" all my life! I really need a professional organizer to help me!!!
