Stamping stores in LEX, KY area?

We're headed to KY late summer to visit family. I already know the stores in my parents' area (Owensboro), can anyone recommend stores in the Lexington area for when we visit DH's mom? She's between Frankfurt and Lexington, we'll be staying in Georgetown. I really need an excuse NOT to sit around her house, so tell me about all the places you know!! TIA!

There is a great store in Frankfort that sells scrapping stuff and stamps. Memories Ala Mode. The owners name is Lois--tell her Rose from card club sent you. Enjoy. Lexington also has 2 Micheals and a Hobby Lobby.

Lexington also has Lasting Legacy, it's a scrapbook store but they do have a stamping section. It's off Man O' War not too far down the road from Hamburg shopping center (where one of the Michael's is). On the other side of town (on Nicholasville Rd.) is the other Michael's and a Jo Ann's, down that same road in Nicholasville is the Hobby Lobby.
That's about all we have any more, the other scrapbook store and the 2 stamp stores have closed.

There is not one in Versailles but Georgetown has a very small one. I haven't been since they changed owners but have heard they only have the basics for scrapbooking and no stamping (but I don't know this first hand).

There used to be a stamping store on Southland Drive. Does anyone know if it is still there? I am not sure.

OMGoodness! I'm in Georgetown!
Yes, we've got a store here. It's not the store that used to be. This one is called Scrap Paper Scizzors and it's a paper wonderland.... She's got lots of paper, not really too many stamps, and other goodies. She holds lots and lots of classes. And the 2nd Wednesday of the month if you bring in a Micheal's coupon you can use that in the store.

No, that store moved to Moore Dr. and then closed a few years ago.
