I'm going to be in Phoenix the week of April 23rd. I'd like to scope out the stamping stores in Phoenix, maybe even attend a class while there. Can anyone from the area recommend something for me, or advise where I should begin? Thanks for your help.
Too bad you won't be here on the 19th or 22nd. Scrapbook Barn is having two different offerings. Lance from Rusty Pickle will be here teaching a book on the 19th and Lil Davis will be driving through on the 22 and is offerring Make and Takes and will give you new LD items in exchange for older, items that can be donated to a hospital in Orange County, CA.
I don't know about the classes for any of these stores. I only know the scrap class offerings. Sorry.
Thanks for catching the Scraps N Stamps -- I copied and pasted from a list that I have and didn't notice that it was still on the list. I've removed it from my list.
I was in Scottsdale last summer. THere's a store called Frenzy Stamper at 7042 e.5th st. (have her card sitting here). The website is www.frenzystamper.com. I know she had all kinds of classes going. The store was great!!!
Stampworks in Chandler is awesome. You can find a calender with a list of the classes they offer on their website at www.stampworksaz.com. It is close to the Tempe area, too.
April 20-22nd there is a Creating Keepsakes convention at the Mesa Convention Center. I know it's not stamping but there is a vendor area Friday and Saturday 10-6:00 and lots of products that could be used by both scrappers and stampers.
