I have the opportunity to join my husband on a business trip to Amsterdam. Does anyone know of any stamping & scrapbook stores there?

Oh my. You lucky person! Amsterdam is one of my most favorite cities! It's beautiful and it also has great museums, cafes, boutiques, and markets.

I went to this store a couple of years ago, we had to walk past it to get to our hotel..... wall to wall stamps!!!

The exchange rate wasn't that brilliant so ended up not buying anything as I could get them cheaper at home or off the web. But well worth looking out for the shop its really nice to browse.

Not sure if you'll get chance to travel at all but if so, the Art Journey store looks to be worth a visit - I'd love to go! It's about 85 miles away from Amsterdam though. They stock a range of stamps including their own designs and those are not available anywhere else, you can only get them direct from Art Journey. Store website is here if that's of any interest.

If you haven't already planned your visit to the van Gogh musuem in Amsterdam, make sure it's on your itinerary. If somebody told me I could only ever visit one art museum in my life, I might well choose that one. (It looks as if they're doing a big renovation at the moment though and it's closed 24-28 September.)
