Default Stamping on gold?

Anyone know of an ink that would stay on gold?
Thanks

Like real gold???? I think Staz On would work. It works on shiny surfaces, non-porous surfaces like ceramic tiles. Should work on gold. What are you stamping on gold? Just curious.

Yes real gold. I'm not really "stamping" but need the ink to fill in on my wedding ring where it was antiqued but is wearing off. I'm tired of taking it to the jeweler and paying $40, only to have it wear off in a couple of months. It seems that the area where it is antiqued has lost it's brushed surface (36 years) so the ink doesn't have anyplace to cling to. If I could do it myself I would if I could find the right ink. I just tried Memento and let it dry overnight but it rubs right off.
Thanks

yep I agree with the stazon. can't hurt to try it - worst case... you have to take it back to the jeweler.

Since I have Staz on I will try that today. If that doesn't work I will definitely try the Vintaj, sounds like that should work.
Thanks

You say that the jeweler brushes the surface, so maybe if you used something like a soft brass brush and then put the ink on, that might give it a little bit better surface to cling and stay a little longer.

Tried the Staz On and so far it's looking good. If it lasts a couple of months I'd be real happy. Only problem is I don't have much of the refill left so I'll have to get more.

Thanks gals!

$40 worth of Stazon refill should last you a long time! LOL
