Default Stamping on Glass?

What kind of ink pad would I use to stamp on glass? Can I color with any markers? Thanks for your help!

I have used the Stays-On ink on glass, works great. But can't help you with coloring the image.

I have never stamped on glass, so I am not 100% sure, but I would think that the sharpies would work. Anybody else know?

michaels sells special markers for glass. I don't think any of the other ones would work.

Default Glass Etching

Has anyone ever attempted using their stamps for glass etching using an etching product?

re the etching . . . Colleen Kidder did one and it's beautiful! I have etching cream somewhere around here and plan to attempt her technique soon!

mom2kjs, As for coloring on glass, a lot depends on the effect you want! If you want a stained glass effect, there are many stained glass "paints" at Michael's and probalby even WalMart. If you want an opaque effect, there are acrylic paints, as long as the item will not be handled constantly.

There are also Pebeo Porcelain Paints and they and Delta also make paints designed for porcelain.

Can't help you much beyond that until you explain specifically what it is you're trying to do and the desired effect . . .
