Default Stamping on Candles

Okay, so I was looking at the gallery at all of the stamped candles. (which are all gorgeous by the way). I love candles so much and I want to try this.

When I was looking, I found a candle by amyb66 and it had a PICTURE on the candle (here it is: stampin on candle by amyb66 at Splitcoaststampers ) It is beautiful and my daughter will be 2 this month and I would LOVE to make one to burn at her birthday party.

Does anyone know how Amy got the picture on the candle??
Heeeelllpppp!

Thanks in advance....
Jen

I believe that she printed the picture on tissue paper from her computer and then heat set it onto the candle with a heat tool.

HTH:p

you would need to print the picture on tissue paper - best way to do this is to print it out on a piece of printer paper and then using some form of double stick tape tape down a piece of tissue OVER the image and sned it through your printer again...

then just follow the directions that are in Stamping on candles tutorial in the resource section

I just taped a piece of tissue paper on printer paper using regular Scotch tape. I ran that through the printer one time. Make sure there are no creases in the tissue so it won't catch as it's printing. You need a while for it to dry thoroughly before you adhere it to your candle.
