Default Stamping backgrounds & Planning cards

Somewhere I read a forum with tips on how to stamp background images so that they look professional and even instead of clumped, crooked, whatever. I've spent an hour searching with no luck. I remember something about stamping the image, turning the paper or stamp 90 degrees, stamping again, etc. But I know there was more to it than that.

Also, I remember seeing tips on how to plan a card--something about the focal point being off-center and going from there. Don't know if this was the same post as the background forum or not. But I'd love those tips again.

When I first joined SCS and started lurking a few weeks ago, I was overwhelmed and didn't know how to save vital stuff.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction! Thanks!

Rosie
