The catalogs will start shipping out on the 20th. They ship the catalogs that have to go the farthest first. The catalogs ship directly from the printer which I believe is on the west coast (USA). I live on the east coast (NC) and my catalogs shipped out on June 22 last year, they arrived on June 28. The theory is that they try to time the shipping so that everyone receives their catalogs around the end of June. It doesn't always work out that way but you get the idea.

Good to know. We've all been bugging the heck out of our demo to see when she's getting the new catty. Want to get it before July 4th so I can lay aound on holiday and admire the stamps!
Glad I'm not the only one, I think I'm a stamp stalker. I was so excited for the new catalog to come out last year that I woke up early and got online to check it out on July 1. I saw it before my demo did!
My demo said they will be shipping on the 20th and she hopes to get them by the 23rd or 25th (orders shipped to AK only take about 3 days). We are leaving for two weeks on the 26th, so I'm really hoping to get mine in time to browse through on the plane!
This is good info to know...do demos actually get a UPS confirmation so you can track it? I seem to remember in past years stalking my demo and her telling me when they were going to be there...

Nope, we do not get the tracking info. However, in the past, others have been able to track the shipment through UPS using an order number and their zip code (I can never remember the system!)

The catalogs will START shipping on the 20th. Not all catalogs will ship on the 20th. If shipping takes 3 days for your demo, then her catalogs will probably not ship until the 24th or 25th. It takes about 6 days for stuff to ship to me from the west coast, and last year my catalogs didn't ship until the 22nd.

Can non-demos get catalogs through their demos before July 1st or do we have to wait until the catalong 'comes out' to order one?
Call your demo and ask if she is doing preorders. Or even better book a workshop for July and I'm sure she would be happy to get you a catalog as soon as she has one.
I'm wondering how SU will handle having July 1 on a Sunday. Will they post it before they leave their offices on Friday, June 29? Will they post the online catty as Sunday begins, at midnight? Or will they wait until Monday morning to post it -- which, of course, will be closer to noon on the East coast? 'Twill be interesting to watch. . .

Ooo - good question! It will be interesting to see what they decide to do. If they have the website posting process automated, they can probably time it to go live whenever needed without actually having to be in the office.

I really hope they do that....I can't wait to see the new catty....I'm going crazy waiting!

The catalog will not be on the website until Monday, July 2. I read that on the Demo website somewhere. Just thought you'd like to know.
Am I weird??? I would rather see the print catalog first and will not look at the new catalog on the computer until I have my print catalog in hand!!!!!!
It is like ruining the experience not to see it in the catalog first.

Nope, I am the same way. When our monthly Stampin Success comes I don't really look at that online UNLESS it's a biggie, like this month. Then I just look at the pictures (gee, that sounds bad...LOL). Tomorrow will be the first chance I have to really sit and digest it so I'll make some sweet tea and really check it out.
My oldest and DH know, new catty comes, mommy is off for at least two days. Pizza one night and whatever I can make it 10 minutes or less the other. I get my pad and my pen and my sticky notes, mark pages with sticky notes and start a wish list. The catty comes to bed with me, to the bathroom, out running errands, everywhere. :-D I could never read it online LOL
my demo said she might will get shipment of catalogs by end of THIS week!!!! We live in California. She promised to call me as soon the UPS dude rings the bell! She did that last year.
Oh man I wish...my demo lives in VA and she said she got a shipment conformation today and that they would be at her house at the end of next week. I probably won't get mine until the end of the first week in July since she has to send it to me...even though I don't want to I'll probably end up looking at the website on July 1st... I much rather have that catty in my hot hands!!!!

they can preset the posting... you know technology these days you can preset postings just as easy as presetting your alarm clock or vcr to tape a movie on tv.
Last year I pre-ordered, and didn't get mine until July 3rd. What an agonizing thing that was. I viewed it online because I just couldn't stand it any longer, and I would agree, it's not near as great online as it is seeing it in person. My info said it shipped on the 19th, but by the sounds of things since I live in CO, it probably won't get here if I am lucky until the end of next week. Oh well..... guess the will have to continue to burn a hole in my stomach. Good thing about this site is when people get theirs first, they start posting what's inside. How fun is that, no visual just written explanation... which actually makes you even more curious! Ahhhhhh!

I just looked at the retired accessories list and it looks to me like SU! as we know it is no longer...wonder what they have in store for us to replace all those punches and brads, and colors.

More punches.
More brads.
Colors still available, just packaged differently. All 12x12 will be available in assorted packages. Select colours available in single colour packs.
Also, Mom in Mama- I am so out of it, I do not know where to read if you respond to me. Does it go to my regular email or come here to SCS somewhere?
TIA
